Just looked through this thread from the start what an awesome project your doing, great detail on the thread too it looks amazing mate :)

 Thanks for the kind words, here are some more pictures as promised.

So for the first time since it was dropped off to me i pushed the supra out and treated her to a bath. Mainly because im constantly fighting dust within the garage, so cleaning the garage out and washing the car was the best solution.

Anyway, to the pictures...

Early signs that all is well with the rear lights on

And one of my favorite pictures showing how 'wide' this car really is next to the family c-class estate wagon

And a quick rinse...

More coming soon, will also upload some higher-res images soon (these are straight from my phone)

Apologies for the slow updates, university is really piling on the pressure once again in the run-up to XMAS.

Following on from last time, with the supra washed and cleaned she went back into the garage

attachment.php?attachmentid=194325&stc=1&d=1416742873

At this time i had also wet-sanded the front strut brace and polished it up a bit, decided the safest place for it was where it should be, so just popped it into place and left the bolts loose for now.

attachment.php?attachmentid=194326&stc=1&d=1416742873

And this last picture, which is very poor quality but at least she looks a but shiny.... :)

More to come soon!

Been a bit slow with updates recently what with new year and university... but i have more pictures for you guys.

First of all, with the car out of the garage i was able to finally clean my garage floor under when the car had been parked...

attachment.php?attachmentid=196174&stc=1&d=1421579998

Then i set about ordering some bits and pieces for her including, Fuel Lab Pressure Regulator (good for some serious bhp) Fuel Lab Pressure Regulator Gauge and Fuel Lab Fuel Filer

attachment.php?attachmentid=196175&stc=1&d=1421579998

Next was an inline fuse for my battery which is now in the boot along with some teflon fuel line and fittings

attachment.php?attachmentid=196176&stc=1&d=1421579998

And a battery tray to keep the battery secure

attachment.php?attachmentid=196177&stc=1&d=1421579998

And finally new drop links and bushes for my Titan adjustable ARB's

attachment.php?attachmentid=196178&stc=1&d=1421579998

More to come soon...

Again, this will be progressing more and more over summer with the completion of my (MA) at university, so bare with me.

Anyways to the updates....

So i purchased a twin pump setup, bosch 044's, and began to tidy the fuel hanger and the wiring... Out with the old...

attachment.php?attachmentid=201979&stc=1&d=1433239429

...And in with the new, fresh crimps/wires and connections all soldered

attachment.php?attachmentid=201980&stc=1&d=1433239429

At the time of doing this i was not certain on my engine setup in terms of power goals, i keep changing my mind, so i put one fuel pump in for the time being

attachment.php?attachmentid=201981&stc=1&d=1433239429

However i made sure that i included provisions to easily upgrade this if needed at a later date

attachment.php?attachmentid=201982&stc=1&d=1433239429

I also sprayed the top of the hanger black, just to tidy it up

attachment.php?attachmentid=201983&stc=1&d=1433239429

More to come soon

Hurry Up and put more up :D

Yes Sir!

UPDATE:

With the fuel pump buildup on the hanger i dropped it into the tank and connected all the feeds/return and breather lines....

attachment.php?attachmentid=202098&stc=1&d=1433578892

attachment.php?attachmentid=202099&stc=1&d=1433578892

I decided to run the vent for the fuel tank under the rear end towards the near-side wheel. I used a non-return value nearest to the vent outlet from the tank (just in case the car ever went over) to stop any potential fuel escaping. I also made a metal shield to stop the filter from getting mucky.

attachment.php?attachmentid=202100&stc=1&d=1433578892

Once i took this photo i pushed the filter back a bit to fully cover it then straightened/tightened the mount to make sure it didnt move.

Spot the rusty original fuel tank mount bolts.... yeah they are coming out for shiny new bolts!

More coming soon,

I am fixing to order my CCW's I am looking at the SP-16 Hybrid's how long did you have to wait for your wheels to be made?

My wheels arrived 4 weeks after I paid the money for them and this was just a few months back :)

Although they quote 4-5 weeks so could be I was a little lucky

As Style said, mine were also about 4 weeks and they were in constant contact, updating me throughout the process!!

Top service. They also emailed me a template which i printed and cut-out to check it cleared my brakes before any metal was cut.

UPDATE: University masters completed :eyebrows:

Time to get on with this build. I started by finishing the under-sealing to the transmission tunnel and into the engine bay

attachment.php?attachmentid=203744&stc=1&d=1438437909

attachment.php?attachmentid=203743&stc=1&d=1438437909

attachment.php?attachmentid=203742&stc=1&d=1438437909

It was difficult to get a picture of such a black surface in the shadow of the car, but you get the idea. This finished the underside off nicely.

Then it was time to fit my Titan adjustable ARB's...

attachment.php?attachmentid=203747&stc=1&d=1438438019

Fitted and torque up to spec

More to come shortly

UPDATE: Boot Floor

So i began to work on my boot floor. The idea here was to keep it simple with a flat floor, battery relocated (mounted properly), hidden inline fuse and stock boot carpet over.

I started by making/ordering some bits and pieces, the fuel lab parts/teflon hose were extras for later :innocent:

attachment.php?attachmentid=203748&stc=1&d=1438438460

I also made use of my time at university with access to a very large workshop full of machinery/tools to make these...

attachment.php?attachmentid=203749&stc=1&d=1438438460

These are my custom boot floor mounts, and of course i painted them black

attachment.php?attachmentid=203750&stc=1&d=1438438460

I then made a timber subframe for my final boot floor to sit on. This was made from softwood and the total thing with mounts weights less than 2kg.

attachment.php?attachmentid=203751&stc=1&d=1438438460

attachment.php?attachmentid=203752&stc=1&d=1438438460

Then i mounted the battery in its tray in the corner of the wheel-well area

attachment.php?attachmentid=203753&stc=1&d=1438438712

Then test fitted my floor structure, it went in perfectly as planned, with my hollow design not restricting wiring

attachment.php?attachmentid=203754&stc=1&d=1438438712

attachment.php?attachmentid=203755&stc=1&d=1438438712

The timber structure is velcroed down to the rear chassis legs to prevent it moving or making noise.

Thats currently where the boot floor is up too. Next i will get some thin wood to use as a base (thinking 6mm mdf), paint it black, then put the stock black boot carpet over :)

More to come soon
