Would the aqua blasting have not been enough on its own?

Wasn't doing a fat lot according to my mate so he masked up the threads and media blasted them.

My issue now is unless all the info i've found on the spigot bore size is wrong these wont fit, put one

on the CMM and that's saying the spigot bore in the spacer is 113.342 but the hub is 114.3, going to

see if it fits this afternoon

The spacers fitted perfectly in the counter bore of the wheel and on the

spigot hub, we replaced the hex head drive flange bolts for cap heads

and fitted the wheels.

Very happy with it now and no need to reduce the thickness which surprised

me a little.

Test drove it and drives great for an old bus :)

Also fitted a new set of Tuff-Rock mud flaps

Got to love classics especially Land Rovers.

Got an issue with the air suspension, it will only let me use the highest setting, also the SRS warning light has decided to come

on in sympathy with height setting warning light. Time to plug it in and see what's up.

Fixed the SRS by swapping out the rotary coupler last time so we'll see

Bought 2 new EAS circuit relays to try, also found a soft dash being broken locally that was working fine before its

crash so got a spare EAS ECU and an EAS delay relay that you can't buy anymore.

Just been out in the drizzle, swapped the relays 1 at a time and nothing  beginning

to think the compressor could have died

Plugged it into the Lynx diagnostic tool and its flagged up a problem with the OSF height sensor.

Luckily i have a spare set so changed that cleared the fault and yay its working again.

Going to future proof the system and overhaul the EAS valve block which you can buy a

seal kit for, fit a new dryer and either overhaul the compressor or fit a new one.

Also looking into fitting new height sensors from the P38 which you can fit with a wiring mod

Touch wood all working 100%. The heated screen is also working nicely and cleared in 3 mins

The SRS light has also decided to have a rest after being reset :)

Was a good test for the TRC and ABS in the snow the other day, the Michelin Pilot Sport SUV'S

worked well enough too and coped easily with a couple of hills

Looking good, how was the 4x4 action?

Not sure if you noticed but you have a photo up with the KY on your dash, luckily no Lemsip could be seen 😇

Only wanted to try it out on the new Michelins and was fine, didn't go far and break the distance from home rules.

Thats a bottle of sanitizer lol

Passed its MOT yesterday and no advisories.

I have to buy a new Y piece down pipe though as the cats are on their way out. I can buy genuine LR

but at £4100🙄 think I'll pass on that

Spoke to a local performance exhaust place and they will make me

a st/st system from the manifolds back for £1500 + vat with lifetime warranty

I've found an aftermarket downpipe for £300, it has 3 year warranty and says its euro 1 and 2 on the emissions

so I'm going to see what that's like before i have a custom job made

An ex F1 guy is making exhausts for Kingsley cars who restore Range Rovers £3450 + vat but a full system.

Some of the welds don't look that great to me ? https://www.kingsleycars.co.uk/range-rover-classic-exhaust-system/#&gid=1&pid=1

Fast! Good luck, are you fitting it?

It'll go on a ramp at my mates garage and we will do some other jobs at the same time

Fit new modified bump stops, replace a breather hose on the fuel tank and fit a new dryer for the EAS

Found new OE height sensors for the EAS so plashed out some more cash

Sadly my mate who owns the garage has had to self isolate, his son caught covid

at school so going to be the end of March before we get it on the ramp
