Scott
Do you have travel insurance bud? Would that not cover you for the full amount rather than selling it off cheap?
stevie_b
Do you have travel insurance bud? Would that not cover you for the full amount rather than selling it off cheap? Worth checking out, but I'd be surprised if it's covered apart from for immediate family.
Scott
Worth checking out, but I'd be surprised if it's covered apart from for immediate family. I could be wrong but I was always under the impression it was for Family Bereavement with no direct mention to "immediate". I've never had to deal with that part of it but I remember taking note of it a few years back. It may be an optional extra, or even something that only certain insurers cover, but it's worth a look anyway. If the arrangements are being dealt with by Gaz and his family then I would think that it could definitely be grounds for an insurance claim. GazzaGSi
Thanks. Just pricing up how much it'd be to fly back for the funeral and then back out there for the rest of the holiday but ideally would still like to sell it. Cheers
