Carbon fibre bootlid

Recommended Posts

Just got this baby in, carbon fibre bootlid. We've got one of these fitted to Steve Linton's Time Attack Supra and it fits really nice plus its lightweight to, picture below of it fitted with a perspex rear screen, stock screen can be used of course. Stock lid and glass weighs 25kg, carbon/perspex 11kg, plus it looks rather good to.

Price for this is £517 inc VAT. Delivery will be £58.75 on top if required. Only 1 available, can get more of course.

wonder what this would look like unpainted on gunmetal... I want to sort out / remove the tinting in the rear so this would be a good way to fix it... can they be supplied with the perspex window / is perspex road legal?

It would look great, can supply the perspex screens as well yes and as far as I know they are road legal.

Is it cf covered fibreglass or all cf?

Do standard hinges and lock etc fit?

Got any pics of the underside/inside?

If you can supply it complete with dark tinted rear perspex screen fitted and third brake light etc all fitted ready to go then pm me a price please.

Fancy it but just want to bolt it on as I dont need the hassle as I have lots of other things to finish on my car!!

cheers

Its cf/fibreglass, you'll never get a full carbon lid for this sort of money. Bolts on using stock hinges and catch.

No pics of the underside, its like standard.

The screen really needs fitting to the lid when its on the car so I cant do that I'm afraid. Its very easy to fit though, we just bond them in which can be supplied with the screen.

Thanks

Paul
