Wazz72
Does anyone know where i can get some paint to spray some panels on a Renault Megane its a bright yellow solid colour, I took the code into halfords, but they couldnt find it in their book. I will find the code tomorrow as its dark and the car is parked up. Its a popular colour sunset yellow or something, ive seen at least a dozen the same colour over the last year. Thanks Warren. RobD
What shape megane is it? Is it like this one... If it is, I bought some paint for mine when I had it from auto-paint.co.uk! To be fair I don't think the Renault is to pricey for the paint! Edited March 11, 2010 by RobD (see edit history)
Wazz72
Hi Rob, its the same colour but its a 98 cabriolet. R Reg I think. Where did you get the paint from? Should be easy enough to spray, I did the supra from scratch with 199 met silver. (Bumpers, Side Skirts, Mirrors & Spoiler)
RobD
I got the paint from http://www.auto-paint.co.uk. Like i said though don't think the paint would be to dear from Renault! Are you on the owners club for that also?
Wazz72
Renault only have tiny little cans, ive used them to spray the wheel arches. They blend really well and theres no bloody clearcoat to put on. Nice easy job, which is just as well as ive got a rear quarter to spray now.. richarde7927
We had a megane soft top in at work this week in that colour we painted the back bumper and boat lid . you have to spray it white first and then put on the solid colour yellow . JustGav
Wazz, since you are listed as being Hampshire, there is a great place in Aldermaston who do all my paint stuff call Paintshop Products. They are in Youngs industrial estate. Great lads and they can easily match or provide you with an off the shelf colour.
Wazz72
Thanks Gav I will give them a call. Richard, is the white a primer? Ive always sprayed with grey primer underneath and it looks fine.
