Mike B Posted February 19, 2008 Share Posted February 19, 2008 JIC magic coilover set, Fully Adjustable (ride height and damping/stiffness), complete with all mountings to bolt straight in. This kit came off my supra, as built by Terry Saunders (Terry S). I recently removed it in favour of the Chris Wilson setup, that alothough costing a small fortune was way more complient of every day use and the very rough country roads around where I live. The JIC Magics are well regarded on the fooum and are prettyy good at soaking up the rough stuff compared to other suspension kits I have owned, infact aside the CW system I'd say it was my favorite so far. To my knowledge the kit covered 20k and there are no damper leaks, with all adjusters free and damping rates still fully adjustable. The top mounts are rose jointed, the overall kit in decent condition, although I do not have the C spanners to adjust the ride height. I had to replace one of the front sprigs in the last 6 months as the last inch of the spring had cracked, lowering one side by a few mm.. it took me a few months to notice. When I removed the kit I also found that one of the back springs had done the same. So the kit does have one damaged rear spring, but is till usable how it is. I sourced a new spring for the front, but didn't take care to shop around, you may easily be able to get some different springs and change the rates etc to tune it how you want it. Good compromise system for road and track use. Ride is (CW commented) not that stiff, so still reasonably complient. Pictures attached. price is delivered.
