  1. There was no sponsorship involved other than a good deal for the leather wrapping. The rest was paid for by working my ass off to get parts to the Supra community. This is going to be the company flagship and used to push the concept of the Toyota V8 in the MKIV platform. No stone is left unturned in the car at this point. I'll say this though, my next project will be a stock body low mile 98. The all out widebody show car is way too stressful. Eric
  2. It'll have to be something that's done on the fly. There are parts of the lines that will get heat wrapped if they run too close the exhaust. Once I see exactly how it sits in the subframe I can get a better idea of ventilation. Eric
  3. The real focal point of the seat are the the Sparco Milanos wrapped in the same medium red w/ black inserts. Here they are in a room full of interior parts. I'm only running a 3" exhaust on mine, I'm only looking for ~800-900rwhp solid. The intercooler is a dual in/dual out core with 2.5" ends. Eric
  4. Everything more or less is here for the assembly. The motor, trans, suspension, interior etc. are all ready to go in. I'm looking forward to getting the job done and getting it on the road. From when we stated until now, we're streamlined many of the processes in getting a Toyota V8 into the MKIV so possibly by this time next year we'll have the V8's on the stands lined up and ready to ship out to owners wanting to do the same swap. Thanks again! Eric
  5. I haven't updated here in a while, but the motor is finished/waiting to drop in, and the interior is complete. Right now I'm waiting on the widebody to come out of paint sometime this week, and the wheels to come back from powdercoating. w/ lines installed Interior coming together. 100% leather wrapped interior, every panel.
  6. Hell no. We get 93 octane at the pump normally, 94 at certain Sonoco stations, and 100 octane unleaded / 110 octane leaded race gas at certain Citgo's. Plus 112, 114, 116, 118, and 120 octane is only ten minutes away if you bring your own jug. I love Florida. Eric
  7. I say we just go hydrogen, I'm done with this middle eastern oil crisis horsesh*t. Eric
  8. That's a question I've been asking myself for a while now. My work truck is a Nissan Pickup that gets a clocked 27mpg. I'm curious whether a 240sx (Silvia) rear end will fit the truck to make it high geared, that'll get mpg into the 32mpg range . The onyl gas guzzler I want to own is the Supra. C16 24/7 anyways. Eric
  9. You guys don't understand the whole story. The real crux is that since after WWII, families were encourged and enticed to live 45min- 2 hours away from work because gas was plentiful and cheap, and the suburbs were popping up like cloudy weather in the English countryside. America is vast, and space is one thing we have a lot of. In that time from then to now, no real infrastructure for public commute was ever established. There's no real rail system to speak of, and bussing is a joke. Now fast forward 60 years. Most families still live 45 minutes-2 hours away from work, so the daily commute is insane to say the least when gas costs are figured into the equation. We're in a very big part paying for the short sightedness of our grandfathers so yes while $3.00 a gallon is far less than what the UK pays, when averaged out the cost is nearly and [dare I say it] in some cases more. There's a lot more that goes into it than the cost at the pump, my friends. Eric

  13. Right, we're making a special batch of these just for the AU and UK market since we've had a larger than usual number of people request it. Also it benefits the folks that purchased the kick-ass facelift rings. Now they'll have the complete set! Happy to serve, guys. Eric

  15. Not really since we don't deal with NA's all that much. Unfortunately the NA-T market is ultra small compared to the TT market and the [straight up] NA market is a tiny spec in that already small market. That being said the cams are a fair amount more aggressive than the stock cams. The cams will definitely let the motor breathe at higher rpm. Thanks man, Eric
  16. Well, they're available if anyone wants them. If not that's ok too. Thanks again! Eric
  17. HAhahahhaha... you know what I mean Rob Eric
  18. Generally that is true, however with these particular cams we noted no loss of low end HP/TQ, and a vast increase in HP up top at redline. The test car was a 93 SC300 w/ a 67mm turbo. It's due to the fact that ANY upgrade from the stock cams will yield more performance, and also because our cams are the shizzzzz. Overall I will say that the cams change the entire attitude of the car, making it more fun to drive, much more sporty, and give more HP up top without killing the power down low. If you guys are serious about making more power with your NA or NA-T, PM me. Thanks again, Eric
  19. All mods work together when it comes down to it, and cams are the single biggest change you can do to the NA motor that will affect HP. The compression ratio is already fairly high, and after the intake /exhaust is taken care of, the next step is cams. Here is the car at idle. The cams are more aggressive than stock as you can hear. It sounds incredible when revving up.
  20. It completely depends on your individual motor and it's condition/supporting mods. I will say this, though. I guarantee though that the power drop-off mid rpm that's usually experienced will be gone. The power will carry all the way to redline. The cams are much more agressive than stock cams and give the car a whole new personality. Thanks man, Eric
  21. Carlos has it right, those cams are for the turbo motor only. For a camshaft to work with the NA motor, it will have to incorporate the distributor gear. Eric
  22. My posts with the available cams were useful I thought. Eric
  23. What's the HKS part numbers? Because I don't see any HKS part numbers for non VVt-I 2jz-ge motors on the HKS website. Thanks man, Eric
  24. It depends on your setup, but I will say that it will open up the top end. You know that drop off at higher rpm's? That's gone. The cams specs are: 268 advertised duration 228 duration @ .050 9.14mm lift The price is $425usd per cam if individually purchased, $375usd per cam if sent as an in/ex set. With the GBP kicking the USD's ass right now, it works out very well for the UK members. The cores are required, and shipping back to the UK will be extra. That's the long and short of it. Thanks, Eric
