  1. the ssqv is a louder version of the stock bov IMO, its nothing like the cheapo crap you hear on old bangers,
That's right, it's more like the expensive crap you hear on old Supras. :D

    Gareth,

A loud BOV does nothing for the performance of your car. Their main 'advantage' is that teenage lads think your car is cool. The downside is that everyone else thinks you're an attention seeker whose car sounds like a bus. :p

    HTH :p

  2. A few of my faves:

    -------------------------

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion

    -------------------------

Just fly in the ointment Hans. A monkey in the wrench. A pain in the ass.

    -------------------------

I coulda been a contender. I coulda been somebody, instead of a bum, which is what I am

    -------------------------

Please put down your weapon. You have twenty seconds to comply.

    -------------------------

This woman has to be gotten to a hospital.

    A hospital? What is it?

It's a big building with patients, but that's not important right now.

    -------------------------

    I'm the Daddy now!

    -------------------------

    anyone name the movies?

  3. I just use "NeroVision Express" to make my MPEG's and AVI's into DVD's. The quality is fine for what I'm using it for, and it really is a simple case of click a few buttons and sit back while it coverts

But how long does it take to convert 90mins of video?

What happens when it converts a 700mb avi file into a MPG file that's too big to fit on a DVDR?

  4. uv changed so thanks for being there wen i rele needed u ok fanks daddy
Jesus christ, it's like the bloody Nova BBS in here. Can't you post your drivel in English?

Mods: How come she can still post if her membership has expired?

  5. But what differences do they make?
None. The restriction due to the size of the stock exhaust turbine housing would mean that whatever size exhaust pipe you have downstream of the turbos would make zero difference to performance.
  6. Looks like the main (only?) difference is the grey surround to the lights (pre facelift lights are black).
No the lenses are different as well.

I wasn't a fan of facelift rear lights until I realised how much nicer they are when illuminated.

  7. Hi Paul,

To be fair, I have no personal knowledge of them but from what I've read about them on this forum they have had some pretty dodgy motors in the past. I seem to recall a mkivsupra.net member (was it Neil 'SkyJawa'?) went to look at a car there and was very critical.

Just use your common sense. Check the car and documentation very thoroughly and you should be OK. If possible, take somebody with you who really knows their Suprastuff.

Good luck mate - keep us posted.

  8. Jake.. I always thought your cowbell comment was from Saturday Night Live..... in which case I saw just the t-shirt for you on hold in the states....
    Yeah that's it mate.

What was this t shirt you saw?

  9. u aint heard of mario ? well u tell me about the "cow bell" thing

and i will tell u about the fat italian plumber

Yes I've heard of Super Mario, of course. I just didn't know there was well known music associated with the fat little fella.

I've got a fever and and the only prescription is more cowbell.

  10. Oh, I didn't realise it was the music itself that was the impressive thing, I thought it was just some random music he was playing. I don't think I've heard any of that music before.

What is Mario Bros? A game? a film?
