  1. Hi ive just bought tires for my rims ... 255 18 r45. Now R45... Will this fit my rear tires , im on stock supraheight :)

45" wheels they must look big :p.

    I think what you have is 225/45 R18 ;)

  2. Guess I`ll have to make this a new question.

How do I connect my headlight`s electric angle adjustment to work? Tried search, but did not find straightforward answer :/

EDIT: found answers from US supra-forums, but stumped into the next problem. It`s really not that easy to make one with no electrical skills myself. Has somebody made harness to make those headlight height adjuster motors to work?

    Would you post a link?

I never knew the supra had this function.

  3. Well with Mr Gormley of the Green Party doing his bit to muck Ireland up worse than it already is I would think twice about it dude.

He's hoping to get the authorities to clamp down on people using commercial vehicles for social and domestic purposes. If he gets his way you can literally be done for stopping at the shops on your way home from work in a van or dropping the kids to work in a crew cab thats taxed as a commercial.

Its going to be tough enough to get away with it in an actual commercial vehicle, as in built like that from the factory, but if you get pulled in a Supra that has been converted you'll never stand a chance as they'll simply regard you as a tax dodger in the first place.

Yeah i've been hearing alot about this clamp down Damien. I also have a friend in the tax office who says that they only want people who has a registered company to be able to tax commercials .

  4. What about an auto Mondeo Scott?

Surely a clutchless motor would be the epitome of a cruiser.

I was led to believe the Avensis suffers the same dual mass flywheel woes as the Fords and my mam's yaris with 50,000 of the easiest miles on it needed steering rack attention last year as it suddenly lost all powered assistance.

I'm nearly 100% my friends yaris (07-08) was recalled for the steering rack. Look into this because you might be able to get a few pound back.

  5. Don't forget Tyson was a street fighter :)

Tyson was/is still my favourite ever boxer, but he is what I'd class as officially fooked.

I'd love to see him fight again but it's never gonna happen, partly because he's a whacked out crack head and

He carryies the sort of image that the UFC try their hardest to distance themselves from so I doubt we'd ever see him in the octagon anyway. Heck they fired Paul Daley for throwing a suckerpunch, can you imagine if Tyson bit off someones nose then told Joe Rogan afterwards that he was gonna eat his children.....that would be awesome!! :)

:D Something mad would happen anyway lol.

  6. Yeah, doesn't matter how i'm driving (fast/slow) as soon as I tap the brakes I get 1 knock where something has moved and then nothing until i use the brakes again.

Although I'm pretty sure my knock is on the drivers side only. I had the brakes off recently, and the knock wasnt there before. When i took the calipers off, I left the brake shoes on and didnt take it apart, so I cant see whats changed.

I will have a look at my brake set up when I change my brakes.

I'm getting this in the evo aswell & don't know whats causing it.

  7. Cool i'll see what my one says. When i asked in store they told me that their open drive only covers a person of which age they would insure on the car & that they wouldn't cover anyone under 30.

They are so full of dung. She prob didn't know so just said anything lol.

  8. Hey

Anybody suggest insurance company in Ireland to insure a Supra,

    no penality points

8 years with Full Irish Licence + No Claims

    28 Years old

    RZ Twin Turbo 93

    I tried

    • Britton Insurance 1200 with 4 K excess
    • Xs Direct 833 with 4 K excess
    • Aviva We dont insurance anything exciting
    • 123.ie You can buy a car with more than 1200cc
    • One Direct On your Bike
    • Axa Use public transport
    • Quinn Direct We arent that bankrupt, insurance denied

Quinn will insure you at a good price but you have to be with them & transfer your insurance over as they can't quote supras.

I was with quinn for 4 years.

My father has his Supra insured with axa.

    Age :56

    Max ncb.

    No pen points.

10% discount as a member of local credit union.

Open driving also for drivers aged 25-70 with his consent who have a full licence :)

I would double check this Mark. My supra is insured threw AXA but open drive with AXA only covers people over 30 in the supra.
