im in the process of doing this too, i have put my original plate on retention then when the V5 arrives for my new car i will move the private plate on retention to the car also i will be keeping the new cars private plate on retention so i can use it / sell it on etc but its a lot of hassle and waiting jamie

really is as easy as unscrewing the bolts and 1 replacing the wing one with a different type and 2 putting a bracket under the other one and fixing the strut into place jamie

Iv'e been working quite hard to get my replacement car to the way i like it since i got it a couple of weeks ago. i bought some gas bonnet lifters from ebay as one of the upgrades i wanted. the people selling these were quite interested to see how they fit etc so i sent them some pictures, and they emailed me back asking if the could use the pictures of the car in future catalogues etc. so my car is doing some modelling for them. see what you think http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=300216687017 btw this isnt intended as advert for them on here, but they are pretty good quality, etc cheers jamie ps. updated my garage
