I assume your wireless key module (under drivers seat) and remote key are original to the car?

Modules are. It has an aftermarket alarm with a fob which still works. But no central locking. Not even the window switch panel button engaes it
Might be worth opening your door control module up and looking to see if there is an obvious dry solder?

Yep ill be doing that in a few hrs. But still going to want a spare to keep in the emergency bin of bits
