I know these say they're for an accord but the bulb size is correct and seem to be the best lumen?

Ooh no I wouldn't go with that - 1800 lumens per bulb isn't very good. Someone mention Nighteye earlier in the thread. Have a look at their website (now branded Novtec or some such) - for a small amount more money you can have HB4 bulbs producing 4 times as many lumens.

What colour is going to light up the road most ? 4000k or 8000k

 

4000k, the lower the bright but less blue/white

 

higher is dimmer but more blue/purple

 

You also do not want to go too low on the K rating as then you enter into the realms of halogen poor light quality. I always bought 4300k. Go above 5k (roughly) you start to go dimmer.

 

8000k is chav blue and will be dimmer than 4300k or there about's.

 

Found this on another forum where car owner done a full test on LED vs HID, in the end he went for HID.
