Im installing some custom aftermarket speedo plasma dials. The ones that fit over the originals. There’s only 2 wires from the new speedo lights 12v inverter, red positive and black negative. I’m thinking the best way would be to connect them to the dimmer switch wiring? Be good to know if anyone has fit these before.

Okay so I thought I could find some info online as to which wire is which on the dimmer but im struggling. There are only 3 wires green/orange, black/white and green/white. I understand you can test with a multimeter but I don’t usually get involved with this kind of thing so I don’t have one. It’s just knowing which one to get power from so they work with my headlights. If anyone can help would be appreciated.
