I can now test cam and crank sensors and wheel speed (ABS) sensors

I tooled up a jig for testing all three and can now offer testing of cam, crank and ABS sensors and can supply oscilloscope screen shots. Cost is "10 plus VAT per sensor plus return insured P&P at £6.80 plus VAT for any UK post code. I just btested a cam and crank sensor and whilst the crank sensor would PROBABLY work it had aa poor pattern definition, I am seeing this on the actual engines quite a bit these days, so if you have them of it may be worth getting them checked out as new ones are either impossible to find or pretty costly! Be careful removing ABS sensors as they corrode into the hubs. I can test them on the car if necessary, but it'll cost quite a lot more. I can also supply analogue to digital converters for the ABS sensors for those with aftermarket ecu's that demand a square rather than a sine wave without having to adapt Hall effect wheel speed sensors.

Last time I looked you could still get one side rear ABS sensors, Cannot recall which side it was but I don't think that there is any difference N/S to O/S other than the orientation of the top control arm retaining clip? From what I've seen of them they are both the same length so if you can get one side you should be able to make it fit.

The sensors are not a huge issue, sleeves could be made to make smaller diameter ones fit the hubs, mounting holes elongated to mate with the hole in the hubs, blah blah. The REAL issue is fully water proofng them and their cabling, and routing it in durable sleeving the same way as stock to avoid damage from road debris. If it were my own car I could (and have) make other adaptors work, but the risk is if you do someone else's and a sensor fails and is blamed for an accident... DO NOT throw old none working sensors with good cabling away. I am working on an idea ;)
