What is this rusty part in my boot lid...

Anyone know exactly what its called. I know its something to do with the heated screen but I am trying to find another one that isn't rusty and can't find a part number or its actual name.

worst case I can clean up what is in contact with the boot lid, but I would rather just put a better one in.

There looks to be a part number under the bolt - uncover that and do a search and that might identify what it was originally intended for.

I do know what it does, it contols the heated window (as I said in the first post ) but i don't know what it is called to search for the part, and neither so Toyota. I know it works because my heated screen works. Heated window module doesn't seem to help Toyota or parts diagrams. Any ideas on its name?

I think it’s some type of heating element or transformer as they have two coils inside and vents on the underside indicating they get hot/warm.

It’s the heater unit for the rear screen.

It's a noise filter for the antenna built into the rear screen I think.
