Hi all

I've decided I want to do an 600hp nat build on my 2jzge. Does anyone have some advise on what parts to use? I dont want it to be deathly expensive but at the same time I want to use quality parts.

Also should I rebuild the bottom end with forged internals or can I leave it stock?

same as above, for 600hp you are better off with a GTE engine. An NA engine will require lower compression to reach those numbers and possibly a whole bottom end rebuild (my knowledge on NA's is limited). Also you have the gearbox to consider, a manual W58 (NA) gearbox won't hold 600hp for long or at all.

1st thing you need to decide is how much your willing to spend on the build and from that work out what power you can achieve.

You can get over 500bhp from na bottom end if change compression using thicker head gasket but if manual you will need better gearbox.

I started my na-t build with plan of 500bhp but got carried away and 12k later I have fully forged block and built head capable of over 1000bhp easy.

It’s all down to what you want to spend

What is your budget ? that might help ,

I got a 2nd hand turbo kit from here which was £2500,

Injectors was £500 fuel pump £150,

ECU was £600 + £200 for adapter ,

Clutch and fly wheel £1300,

second hand Defi Gauges £500

Plus loads of little bits ,gaskets, exhaust,

That's without labour and gearbox synchros
