na-t clutch options

Hello everybody,

Soon I'll be going na-t route, my aim is to have around 350 bhp and I am looking at clutch options for my w58. I have already read many forums, messaged some guys but I receive different responses all the time. Probably this topic has been covered many times, but I would like to get up to date information.

Is there any difference between these clutches apart from the price and rated torque?

I've got the Spec 3 clutch In my NA-t. I'm running the R154 but as a clutch its not too harsh and easy to use in traffic... That's what i'd recommend.

Im using a act stage 3 or 4 not sure, its a full face item too so nice and easy on the gearbox, everyone says different things about different clutches but one thing i found everyone agreed on was to avoid paddle clutches as they are too harsh!

Competition Clutch clutches are horrible to use and dont last very long, they're cheap for a reason.

The Spec clutches are great, nice to use, especially the stage 3+ clutch, thats the clutch I'd recommend.

I agree with Paul, I had a competition clutch and it was horrible and terrible in traffic, I would also recommend spec clutches

I've got a competition clutch stage 3 holding around 430hp/450 ft of torque currently . Had the clutch for almost 20k miles now with no issues, bit grabby compared to stock but pedal is light and useable.

I have a competition stage 4 sprung clutch, holding just under 450hp and 430 ft of torque. I would whole heartedly NOT recommend going for this option, its a very heavy pedal, extremely grabby and i get a lot of juddering through the drive train when moving off. Everyones tastes are different but for everyday driving and bad traffic, this clutch is one of the worst for comfortability. Used to it now, but i still wouldnt recommend it!
