OEM Recaro seats with frames - what are they worth?

I'm toying with the idea of selling my OEM Recaro confetti seats with frames.

The deciding factor will be what they are worth.

They are in good condition with the correct rails etc. There is a slight bit of wear on the driver right hand upper bolster, but this is not detrimental to the look of the seats.

They are defo genuine seats. I know these are getting hard to find and many sale threads claim the seats are genuine but they have the wrong rails etc.

What do you guys think is a realistic price?

not sure on what they are worth but ive been after a set for a long time so would def be interested in them if you do decide to sell.

Im in the same position, might change for something else.

General consensus on Facebook was around 700-900 with some other people saying they wouldn't let them go for less than 1k.

Then of course there were the people who like to semi trade in these parts saying they not worth more than £500, and they'd have them for that...

That's if they are genuine OEM with genuine rails.

For info the light makes the material look a bit grey. They are defo black though.

I'd be very interested at £1k as I could get modern replacements for near that.

With OEM rails they are straight bolt in. I don't get why people think £600-650 without rails is ok and then need to spend £500+ on bride rails.

I've got two sets of these with OEM rails and wouldn't entertain less than £1k

They are worth what someone will pay, and no one in their right mind will pay £1k for used seats, you can get new recaro speeds for that. I've seen a few sets of good condition confettis go for between £300-£400 on eBay in the past year, there is a set on there now for £400. Rails are £200max if you know where to look.

£600 is a more realistic price.

Yep, I paid £1500 for brand new recaro speeds in the finish that matches the car with bride rails.

Personally I would only pay £1000 if there recently reupholstered..

I wasn't meaning you pal, just in general! For how desirable and valuable they are alleged to be, I was surprised by the lack of interest.

I just sold a set without rails for £400 in the blink of an eye. Probably could have got another £50-100 if had been more patient but needed them gone asap.

I would think used OEM rails would be worth about what brides cost new. Another £250 perhaps?

They have tilt leavers (if you mean the seat fold down release) on both sides of each seat.

As far as I'm aware and have been told, they are not supra oem if the tilt levers are on both sides.

Mine have levers both sides and apparently the supra oem ones only have one lever per seat.

They only have the manual tilt wheels on one side of each seat. It is these tilt wheels being on both sides which denotes a generic model of Recaro seat.

Ah, so mine are factory oem recaros then as I have the two levers to tilt the upper half forward but one wheel to adjust it.

I was told it was the levers that meant it wasn't factory.

I've read back over your old thread and I think it was the same misunderstanding.

Also every photo I can find on the web of a Supra OEM Recaro, that I can see, has the same setup as ours.

I've decided it's not worth selling these. I could probably get around the £650 mark, but I would then need to buy new seats and rails.

Seats are £1000 approx and rails £500 approx. Therefore the sale of the seats would only just cover the cost of new rails. I'd still then have to pay near enough full price for the new seats.

I might as well keep them, use the rails and spend the £1000 on some new Recaros.
