Facelift Headlights with Rare Clear Lenses (Project)

Pair of facelift headlights insides have been resprayed black, and the original lenses cut out and replaced with the rare reproduction lenses from this thread

http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?101240-Replacement-Clear-Headlight-Lens-(Merged)

I paid 150 for the old facelift headlights, 80 odd for lenses then 80 odd more to get the guy that produced them to fix cut the old facelift lenses and fix the new ones to the frame of the original lenses (its a pig of a job!!!) from memory...

I only had them on my car for a few months, and it didnt move in that time so the lenses are perfect and unscratched, however i hadnt sealed the lenses to the headlights properly so moisture got in, there's some bubbling on the painted facelift innards as well as can be seen on the pics, plus some dust etc has got in as theyve been in garage a few years,

This is a project for someone that has the time as they need opening up, the innards sanding and respraying then cleaning and putting back together properly/sealing properly, if someone has a couple of Sundays on their hands and a lot of patience they could have a new looking set facelift lights unlike other facelift lights.

No idea on price, I'm open to offers but I'm guessing somewhere in region of £200,

Collection preferred (near Gatwick) but I will post at cost

Had a few questions re what i resealed with, i just heated the original black gloop, then went over with some waterproof rubber sealant, the sort you can just peel off. Shouldnt be hard to clean to start again.

As Gavin says its not an easy job, its a project, however, its a shed load easier than starting from scratch with the clear lenses, the really tricky part (cutting out original lense front and gluing new one in) has been done, it should just need resealing.

It was too much effort for me though, so i just bought a new set of facelifts.
