Strut Brace for UK Spec Turbo

Did a quick search and found this but would appreciate your advice.

Which strut brace fits the UK spec Turbo clearing the bonnet scoop without any modification please ? It looks like the TRD one only which appears to be the best anyway.

I've got the Whifbitz (TRD copy) one (big chunky thing) and it fits really well and is made of good strong stuff! Can't say I've noticed a huge difference but I did go form stock to BPU all at once and added this (along with loads of other bits suspension wise etc) so I'm not going to say it does or doesn't work but looks good under the bonnet.

The one piece design does, you could always mod a TRD one to do the same thing if that is your preference.

Remember you have the actual snorkel to clear that's attached to the engine too; which people that have retrofitted a scoop won't have

My whifbitz Trd one DOES NOT clear my scoop guts!! Which is why it's been sat on the kitchen floor for over a year!!

I thought it was only the Cusco one that cleared. TRD definitely doesn't clear as I had to trim the inner guide on mine to get it to fit.

Does that not attach to the manifold though? It's a single turbo which I think does away with the snorkel.

It's the Carbing tower bar that includes the BMC stopper, this is the one I'd fit, not sure if it clears the scoop though.

Not sure what make my strut brace is but it looks like a Cusco one, I have an original vented OEM bonnet with all the correct fittings and I had to remove the snorkel part that fits to the underside of the bonnet as it hit my strut brace.

Greg, I custom made a new under bonnet scoop section when I fitted my TRD chrome strut brace. Happy to take a photo if you want me to?

Here you go gents, though annoyingly it looks like one of the black plastic clips has worked itself loose and the paint has rubbed away a little in the edge, though it has been fitted for about 6 years. Will have to take it off and resprayed it:

The scoop section starts after the strut brace so doesn't fowl it. It looks much better in the flesh as the photo doesn't do it any justice:
