supra_ufo
As title says, can I use titan ATF 4400 fluid for my power steering, I notice alot of automatic transmission fluid can be used as power steering fluid too

MattP
all modern atf should be fine for the power steering so yes IMO
Chris Wilson
Should be fine, if rather OTT price wise, I would just run a decent branded Dexron fluid and put the savings towards a better cooler if you have some specific car usage that works the PAS abnormally hard. supra_ufo
I got 10 litres of that brand ATF Chris for free and didnt want to buy the dexron stuff because I am a tight bugger I have already bought a PS cooler (be it 2nd hand) so I have drained all the old stuff out. How would you recommend cleaning the 2nd hand cooler? can I just put a hose on one end and just run water through it?
Chris Wilson
Petrol or brake cleaner, something that will evaporate if left out in this nice warm weather *NOT* water, will be fine. I hadn't realised we were in the same "tight arse" club
