CRV long time to start

Just wondering if anybody on here has any ideas, I have an 07 CRV K20 engine.

It always starts up fine in the morning only after having went somewhere then being shut off and when you go to start it up again, the starter sounds totally normal but just keeps winding for about 10 seconds before starting then its fine. My mate had an idea it might be the coolant temp sensor telling the ecu the engines stone cold and then putting more petrol in to the engine and effectively flooding the engine.

I'm not sure where to go from here with this one let me know if you have an ideas or if the coolant temp sensor sounds like the culprit.

Thanks in advance
