Can you tell me what is the third sensor after the first cat? I know that there is a 2 o2 sensors but third one is mysterious.

Temperature sensor. Goes into the foot pan and into the interior footwell under the carpet.

I'm going obx (or at least same kind of) aftermarket header, and i can't recall is there a place for that sensor. Need to think about this.

Do you happen to know the exact model of those Avens alloys, I have the exact same ones and need spigot rings, do you happen to know the size I would need?

The AVS ones from near the start of the thread?

AVS Advan Model 5 I think mate.

I just snipped mine off, was told by multiple people who've done the same that it isn't necessary once you've gone decat.

Headlight inserts refurbished with some fantastic items from Noz.

I have my indicators in the fog units now too, also thanks to Noz.

Pics of the full units once I get the lenses polished:

Wheels also refurbished fully, powdercoated locally and I replaced the (false) split bolts:

Spacers on order for the fronts as they don't quite clear the LS400 brakes.

So I got a decent bit of work done recently and have FINALLY been using the car again! Feels so good to be back behind the wheel after so long. Still needs TLC here and there and unfortunately it's off back to the painters on the 15th for them to sort as the lad that did the paint has done a crap job, but nonetheless it's mobile.

Also going to get the rear numberplate pods fitted at the same time (I've had them colour coded to the car).

Got some carbon effect wing mirror covers from Al Massey that look the business too.

Quite a few more things on the jobs list but it's very much getting there now.

Couple of snaps from this weekend.

I keep forgetting to alter my camera settings so the picture quality has been ruined by paint, but some good shots all the same:

Took a load more but no point uploading them with the resolution problem.

Couple of things I forgot to mention.

I recently made a hidden head unit install. Basically I HATE all head units, think they're ugly things. I've got an OEM blanking plate in the top half of the 'gap' and I've got my nice, simple Defi control unit in the bottom half.

So I removed the centre arm rest section, cut away a hole, found a shallow head unit that is used only for USB and set to work getting it to fit. I'm going to do a little more tidying up here and there to make it slightly more attractive but I'm very happy with how it works.

I've also identified another problem today. The butterfly valve actuator thing on my Y branch is basically the wrong way around, so I need to sort that on the weekend. The car has felt pretty asthmatic and I think that's the main cause, as well as a few cobwebs here and there.

First pic is how it should be, second is mine.

No idea how I didn't spot that.

Love the headunit install, very old school :)

Thanks Frank, need to do a little re-wiring on the new front speakers and I'm in desperate need of a sub.

Also noticed on the top pics of the valve, my hose is madly twisted so yet another issue there.

Updates.

Car went back to the spray shop as the paint went dodgy and started splitting and cracking. All now redone properly.

Got my rear number plate pods fitted too, had these colour coded which I think looks best.

Also got some face-lift front indicators wired up. In the midst of fitting these I came across something pretty, well pretty bloody awful. A fake dump valve! imageimageimageimage

I suspected for a long while I had a problem with the ACIS valve, which turned out to be true.

Got a good used inlet manifold from Parm which I cleaned up, painted and fitted. Runs noticeably better now.

I do have an issue with condensation on one of my headlights though. So that's the next job on the list. imageimageimageimage

Your car is looking really smart now ken. Its definitely the best look/bodykit combination you have achieved to date... and theres been afew! Keep up the awesome work
Thanks mate. Yeah I've kind of gone round the houses a bit to get to this stage but I'm definitely happy with it right now. Few more little bits of tinkering to do externally but nothing major!

Recent updates.

Changed wheel from a Kode deep dish to a Mountune flat bottom, at the same time I changed the generic gear knob for a nicer D1-Spec weighted one.

Found some interesting new carbon style cloth material, wrapped the centre console lid in it and will be doing the glove boxes too.

Also changed the wipers! Much more exciting update to follow tomorrow.

Vibration issue resolved (discussed here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?347839-Steering-problem) turns out the centre bearing rubber had perished badly, causing excessive movement in the prop shaft under load. Ordered all new parts including the bearing, flange, and the fixings.

Got some chrome rings for the dash, full set. Fitted pics soon. Bagged an oem key, stumbled upon some louvres (need a little finishing) and layered the inside of the glove boxes with foam to stop rattles /done previously but not tidy enough).
