I need to do a serious prune of this list as I know a few guys have left ownership.

I will also update with those of you who are yet to be added

It would be nice to see more of the midlands members at the regular meet we have the first Wednesday of every month.

Pruning a list is all well and good, but pointless if no one actually bothers to meet up with the members that do make the effort to regularly meet and socialise.

If your talking about the Lutley Oak meet, the car park isn't really Supra friendly and kind of goes against the whole 'meet' idea a little bit.

I can see your point and I'm always up for food/drinks and banter but I think a better location is needed to get the Supra masses out in their Supras.

Just my input.

We used to go to the badgers sett throughout the summer as the carpark is big enough and flat enough but throughout winter noone brings there Supra's out anyway so cheap food with big portions seems like the decent idea :D were always up for trying new places though :)

the worst thing about it for Supra's is how busy it is, there is a big slope getting into it too but starts off gentle as even iv had my Supra in there before and didnt scrape (although I did have Trick watch me closely as I was worried about it :rlol: )

I have not been for a few years but imagine it is still the same.

It has 2 pretty small and 'tight' car parks with one having an narrow entrance with an incline.

The pub does get pretty busy too so it's not a case of parking the cars up and having a chat outside.

When I was a member of SXOC, we used to have regularly monthly meets at the back of the Showcase Cinemas in Dudley. This was better as it is flat big car park with plenty of spaces.

I'm not saying that it has to be there but it worked out very well for us.

I disagree, to me the whole point of a meet is to meet up and socialise. I take my Supra of the road every winter and tuck it away in the garage, and with the weather the way it is the last place I'm going to be is standing around in a car park. No offence, but I don't need to look at someone elses Supra in a car park, I've got one! lol

The Christmas meet and meal was an ideal opportunity to bring the Supra, large car park, and a fair few did bring the Supras along. I don't remember meeting you that day Sukhy, and apologies if in fact I missed you, did you attend?

No I didn't attend. Couldn't make the date unfortunately.

I can see your point and take it on board (I don't drive mine this time of the year either). I was just stating a point on why people may not attend a monthly meet as for some its more about the cars than the chat but understand for others, its vice versa.

My point was if we can get to a happy medium which suits both, the weekly meets could be much better considering the amount of members we have in the West Midlands.

I think as Shawn suggested, the Badgers Sett in the warmer months is a good place to meet, which will suit both :)

How about the Demon Tweeks meet in April Burna? Got a decent number from this neck of the woods coming along

Oh yeah! I'd completely forgotten about that one! Thanks for reminding me Spunkmeyer :) I'll check the date and see whether the car will be ready, as it's going into TB Develpoments in March for some work.

Anyone up for a Midlands meet soon then?? Suggestions welcome.

It's been a while and as the weather is still decent, may as well make the most of it.

How about an evening meet as the days are longer??

A lot of the midlands members have already bought tickets to the Supra Summer Party :)
