How Long Did You Wait For "Your Dream Car"???

Had so so many dream cars since I was 17 and got my license (24 years ago!)

Cars these days dont seem half as interesting or fun as back then, I wanted a "dream car" every 5 mins, they included

Mini 1275GT

Metro Turbo

Nova SRi

Renault 5 GT Turbo

Pug 205 1.9 GTI

Astra GTE

Escort RS Turbo

Rover Metro GTI

MK1 Golf GTI Cab

Cossie (Sierra)

Rover 220 Turbo

Suzuki Vitara wide boy (I know!)

MR2 MK1 (my first Jap dream car)

Subaru WRX

TVR S2

Skyline R32 GTR

740i BMW

E55 AMG merc

Corvette

Camaro

7 Supras !

I have owned tons of stuff inbetween, its no wonder I have no cash, the list of those I still want is forever growing

 Blimey!!

I was late to finding out about the Supra - I wasn't even remotely interested in cars as a kid, so I only stumbled on the mighty MkIV when I was playing around on Google one day looking for some aftermarket bits for a previous Toyota of mine. As soon as I saw pics of a Supra I wanted one! I bought my Suki about 18 months later, I think it was. That was in March 5 years ago. She's going nowhere soon, either!

Me thinks that may be either an Aston DB5 or Ferrari 288GTO? :)

How the hell are you so good at this guessing mallarky?! :D

I would settle for a Ferrari 308 GTS though, I could probably just about afford one if I sold the Supra and all the single parts, running it would be a whole different story though :(

I know cars :) plus, the 288 GTO is my dream car too. Problably not my favourite, but one I would definately buy 'money no object'.

Thankfully, I don't have expensive tastes (relatively speaking) when it comes to cars, most of the cars I want to own are sub £30k, and I've already owned most of them :D

However, i could easily spend the fortune of a small country on classic aircraft :D

I think my dream car has shifted slightly over the last couple of years.

It had always been a Ferrari F40.

I just love something about its low, Wide and boxy body.

But now.....

Money no object I think I'd like an LFA Over anything.

The noise, the shape, the over engineering. It's just perfect.

Ill never be able to afford either though!

I doubt I will ever be able to afford my dream car (shelby mustang gt500) :(

Dream supra on the other hand........I'm still waiting. Widebody (of some sort) single tubby 6 speed aero top, pushing 550-600bhp.

Once I have the space (and money )for an aero shell and the body kit, work will start :eyebrows: (one day)

i need to get myself to a meet and come and spend some more time learning/viewing etc,

i saw a black supra in Telford by the peugeot garage in ketley last night and jealous is not the word :( i think it may have been a TT as it didnt hang around very long (not that the N/A is slow obviously)
