Something to think about!

IFS 2013- August Bank Holiday!

The Irish Festival of Speed is the largest celebration of car culture in Ireland, a five star mix of all things automotive; Racing Cars past and present, Rally Cars, Supercars, Vintage and Classics, Motorcycles and Air Displays!

We are delighted to announce that the ‘Limerick Raceway at Greenmount’ near Adare will host our next Irish Festival of Speed on the August Bank Holiday weekend 2013. And this year it will be a 3 day event! (2nd, 3rd and 4th). The event itself will take place on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th. (We plan to have associated off-site activities on Friday 2nd, details of which will be provided once the timetable is finalised)

Greenmount was chosen for its infrastructure, facilities and eases of access and is intended to provide the IFS with a permanent home into the future.

Among the numerous enhancements planned for 2013 will be a new purpose built motorsport track – one of the largest investments in Irish motorsport for many years. More to come – watch this space!

I'd definitely be up for a meet and the Festival of speed would be a brilliant choice. Was there last year and it was a great weekend. Only thing is hotels are very pricey during the event, so to be kept in mind for anyone needing accommodation.

Get planning Carlo

Festival of Speed is on in Limerick racecourse now, where Sleek FX show was held previously. Not sure how they'll manage the track but we'll see. Im probably only going to run the Supra from either May or June for 3 months so ill be good anytime then. As it is, she's in pieces in the shed.

Shall we maybe go ahead and get somthing sorted then dates etc? Does Galway sound good? Skyline boys up for this?

Might not be a bad idea for people to put a date in their diarys, as it is my Supra is in pieces atm, literally! Although i will have her back on the road for April all BPU'd. Ill pay the extortionate tax (only 3 months) as a birthday gift to myself lol.
