If you don't mind me asking, how much was the 1jz vvti through Jurgen? As this looks quite tempting alternative to the 2jz.

Cheers mate. This conversion sounds pretty good to me, I think it would be great for my aerotop. Good luck with it, hope all goes well.

Sorry for the late reply. I am using a 5 speed supra box. The downpipe is going to be custom as I can't get hold of one for love nor money. Finding bits is interesting, its all coming from japan. Joy!

Interesting thread. There are alot of aftermarket performance parts for the 1jzvvti. The only problem is that most of them are from Japan. Like turbo manifold I can give you about 7-8 shops that sell them "off the shelf". But most of these manifolds are LOW mounts. Here some examples:

    Autobahn88:

    Kazama:

    Do-Luck:

    Rasty Hyper:

    HPI: (jzx100 of course)

    and recently: Nozzs:

And more. But most are LOW mounts.

There is another australian company that makes manifolds called 6boost. Makes very sexy hi-mount manifold but delivery times are horrible.

    Hope these helps..
