Hi Guys,

Please help.

I have just purchased a HKS SLD 2 from http://www.motorsportworld.co.uk

The guy on the phone assured me that it was easy to fit and would come with instructions. :)

Oh yes it came with instructions alright (in Japanese!!!!!!!) :(

Is there an English version?

I have an aero top JZ80 2JZ GE auto.

All help gratefully accepted.

Thanks

Yellow = Speed sensor wire to ECU

White = Speed sensor wire to loom

Black = Earth

Red = 12V Feed

ECU pin outs here

http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=35919

Sorry for the silly question, but, how do I know wich is the speed sensor wire?(I've looked at that ecu pin outs thread, but..I'm lost:D)

Also, sorry for the hijack, but if I fit a SLD, do I need to fit a FCD as well?(on a stock car)If so, wiring diagrams/infi anyone??

Cheers

here is a ECU sheet that i started a couple of years ago that never finished but has most of the stuff you need, scroll down a bit till you see the 2nd ecu diagram and speed signal 1 is the one you want and its the pink wire,

Yupeeee!!!!Finally..:)Fair play 2 you, buddy!!!

So, The fitting process should b something like this? Please b leaniant(spelling?!:innocent:) as this would b my first time around the ECU:

1.Snip the pink wire from ECU

2.the yellow from the SLD conects to the pink comming from ECu

3.the white one to the pink heading for..wherever:D-speedometer?

4.The red one needs A live feed

5.The black -grounds

Anybody has a diagram with the same info for a FCD??

Cheers!!
