  4. I'm trying to find a video of a guy doing a deranged take of New Born by Muse....its just his head, hes miming, the tracks sped up, he pulls various faces etc... If anyone remembers this and can find it, I'd be mighty appreciative.
  5. Was e-mailed some pics an hour or so ago, taken at our office party just before Xmas. My Secret Santa present was a pair of pink braces, and I needed some help clipping them on. I downloaded the pics without looking at them much, then called the wife over to have a laugh...which she did until she saw this one.
  6. Had this one for just under 9 years. Paid £23k in 2003, she had 4,500 miles on her then, 60,000+ now.

    Photography

I'm no expert, but I've learnt a lot just by experimenting with manual settings...if you get a chance, take lots of photos of the same subjects but with different settings...try to keep a log of the settings you've used so you get a feel for what subtle and obvious differences can be achieved by playing with say, F settings etc. It takes time to learn all the combinations, and can spoil the immediacy of photography for some until or even if ever it becomes second nature to instinctively select the 'ideal' setting. The various auto functions are really quite good, so don't beat yourself up too much when using them as default. I'd recommend a tripod for your trip, some are actually quite compact when folded...or maybe consider a monopod / camera stick...these are a great compromise between the hassle / bulk of carrying around and the steadiness required for some special pictures you have the time to set up with deliberate care.
  8. These get around a bit...they were part of my Predator fancy dress last month, until they got nicked by Snow White.
  9. Got the watch I'd been after, a great shirt from daughter and Beretta Zippo from son. Plus the best roast dinner I've ever had, from the wife.
  10. I was promised a good bonus, so last week I bought a watch. Didn't get the bonus I was expecting. Wife not happy, but the deed is done.
  11. Sorry if a repost. This guy is great fun, loads of fun including Rick Astley...enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/user/AndyRehfeldt#p/u/32/STW9jK76BDA
