  1. Is any body able to shed some light on this problem Thanks
  2. It's a real puzzler that's been doing my head in for ages. The speedo works fine but the distance isn't recording, there is no movement on the odometer at all. It's not like I do many miles anyway, very rarely comes out but I do need to sort this as it will create problems come mot time and if ever mileage is checked. Anyway I took the clocks out and came across a cheap version of a speedo converter/delimiter which the company who I imported the car with installed and has worked perfectly since I got the car in 2008. So I took it out and replaced with a brand new quality unit by speedm8 and still no change. What are the chances it's the sensor in the auto box that needs replacing, or could it be the clocks themselves have had it. Is there anything else that it could be before I go on the hunt for new dials. Thanks
  3. If I remember right, I'm sure you have 3 months to query the mot. So I definately think that you don't really have a chance at just over a year. I could be wrong tho. I suppose it may depend how badly corroded/rusted the problem areas are
  4. Just had another listen and is it the chrome fan cover rattling against the Heat shield from ur induction kit?
  5. Sounds to me like a 2 metal object rattling together, like that chrome fan cover knocking on something. It's a nightmare trying to trace noises!!! Could it possibly be crank pulley bolt worked slight loose, don't know really just clutching at straws now
  6. Brilliant mate, another win for the supra
  7. Well done, looks so much better. Just gotta keep that turf well watered otherwise it will curl its toes up!!!
  8. The latest I heard with mots is if it was manufactured with a cat then it has to have one in for mot for it to even stand a chance in passing. I'm fully decated and find that just putting the second cat back on for mot is fine. Although I'm sure they have difference rules at different mot stations. I suppose it depends on how leanient ur mot tester is. I even had to put my cat back on my l200 animal which is bizarre as its a diesel!!!
  9. Yep definitely bpu mate. And yes 1.2 bar is the max you want to push those turbos providing they are jspec of course, as uk spec can take 1.4 bar
  10. Well def looks like your rocker cover bolts need nipping up/replacement gaskets!!! Also I'm assuming your either Bpu or going bpu as the heat range of plugs you have would indicate bpu. Looks very clean example
  11. I only upgraded to uk spec brakes and at first was disappointed with how they performed. In the end I must have bled them 5 or 6 times which made a massive difference. So could be something as simple as needing another bleed?!
  12. I'd like to think that it's worth more than that, maybe £7000-£7500
  13. Check that the IACV VSV is functioning as it should, there is a write up on here all about the sequential turbo system and all about the issues that often come with. There will be an explanation which I'm sure would help you.
  14. I have goodyear f1 asymmetric on mine and found to Be a brilliant tyre, so they get my vote
