  1. That'd be a yes - Fed up with the Scooby I got last yr (drives ok, but lets face it, a Supra just looks SO much better), esp. as every time I see a Supra go past I go all funny & weak at the knees and wish I'd waited till the right Supra came along. A friend the other day asked me if I was feeling alright after I stopped mid-sentence so I could stare at the lovely mkIV going past.... lol So, the search has been re-ignited! This time I will get me a manual, 6-speed TT
  2. Pictures Car even has mkIVsupra.net stickers in the rear windows (not that you can see that through the window tint in pix tho)! Would appreciate anything anyone can tell me Thanks!
  3. Valid point! All I can tell you is that it's silver with Veilside side skirts, spats and front end and that it's completely de-badged. Sadly I don't have any pix yet.
  4. Hi! Just wondering if anyone on here knows anything about the history of L379 NBV? Ideally it'll have been owned by someone on here, or someone will know who did own it? Anything that you can tell me would be most appreciated! Thanks!
  5. Hmmm, Just tried these guys for a quote on a Subaru Impreza WRX (2L Turbo) Took me a week to get a price out of em and when they finally managed to come up with a quote it was over TWICE what anyone else wanted for it. From the sounds of the above, I'm glad I didn't get a better quote out of them, really not up for dealing with a crap company.
  6. Good move, I just made the hideous mistake of getting an 04 plate WRX with the Prodrive performance pack. car has 63,000 miles on the clock and it's been nothing but a headache. When it's actually working, it's a nice drive, but I've had so many problems with it now that all I can think of every time I get behind the wheel is what's gonna go wrong this trip? First thing to cause me problems was the Turbo, or, every other trip in the car, lack of it as it would randomly work as and when. Took it to the Subaru dealer to have it fixed and ended up shelling out on a new waste gate, which seemed to solve the problem. 48 miles further down the road, engine warning lights started to randomly show, so back it went, this time for a new set of exhaust gas sensors. 8 miles down the road, the clutch went and back it went to the dealer, this time on an AA tow truck (AA recovery guy said he wouldn't touch a Subaru with a bargepole as he sees so many of them with problems that you just wouldn't expect for their age) Yesterday the turbo stopped working again (same fault as the first time round) and it's back to the dealer yet again tommoz for repair. So, I have to wonder what will be the next thing to fail....? So far, in just 2 months, the car has cost me over £2k in repair bills - time for it to go I think. Decided that I was stupid not to get a Supra when I was last looking for a car (it was what I wanted, but didn't happen) So, on the lookout once again
  7. Time to sue the bastards, that's just crap!
  8. I know and thanks for the offer. I just don't have the sort of money that you advertise your cars for tho, sadly all the ones I've looked at that you are selling are well out of my price range. Thanks anyway tho.
  9. Well, that was the plan, but like you said, you'd advertised it on ebay, was waiting to see if it sold or not and also waiting to see what happened with the current car I was looking at. I'm so out of pocket now after the last one I looked at I can't now afford your one anyways, same goes for another one I was interested in looking at elsewhere. Time to cut my losses and run. In the time I've spent looking at soops, I've loast a grand in inspection charges, as well as other travel expenses and time of work to go and look and I can't afford (or take) any more of it. Both you and the other seller were to recieve messages to that effect, but I'm so down on the whole matter now I wanted to wait till tommoz when I might be in a slightly better frame of mind as it;s clearly not your fault and didn't want to take it out on anyone else. My edit to this post was written when I was still really annoyed and upset and I didn't want to repeat the same sort of thing to anyone else. To clarify, tho I've given up, I can't afford to spend any more money or time trying to get a supra and I can't take another let-down if another one goes this way. Sorry if you feel I've wasted your time, I want to be very clear in that it has never been my intention to do so.
  10. forget it guys, see orig. post edit.
  11. Ah, thought it had to be that! Was on Channel 4 a few years ago, dubbed in English - remember thinking it was odd for them to be showing a forklift safety video, but at the time, as someone who held a licence, I thought I'd watch for a laugh. Glad I did as it was soon apparent it was a spoof and a very good one at that! Shame it's not on the net anywhere in English, as the commentary is just as funny. there is a subtitled version out there somewhere tho!
  12. Fear not, I'm on there every couple of days, hopefully something will turn up soon! Rich
  13. The metallic blue one on your site I thought was rather nice, second only to the black one below, which now shows as sold. sadly tho it's out of my price range by a few grand
