  1. im very very interested in this. i turned over to the GTR sceen and built a very fast 33GTR but i just dont think they are as much fun to drive as my old supra. im sorry i kinda skimmed through the thread, but i am seriouse and am looking for the rite car, this may be it. can you please give me a call to discuss Alex i will p.m you my mobile number
  2. aye im up for one last run before the winter lockup;)
  3. if you are running ok till the jump cables are taken off id bet the altinator is goosed, try a wee tip get a mallet and give the altinator a good few whacks (not too hard as you will break the casing but a good shot should see it charge again) the brushes will be jammed in the altinator, if you stall as soon as the cables are removed then the new battery fitted isnt charged properly, try a brand new one and if it runs ok for a bit then you defo have altinator probs if you want give me a p.m with your number and ill call you and talk you through it alex
  4. my god michael being nice!!!!! tried to get along to this but one thing led to another and i couldent make it next time though alex
  5. hi fraser it was a good nite oot oh, soz i scared the crap out of you when i passed you in the car i diddnt notice you wernt looking, i am presuming that was you with the camera on the tripod alex
  6. there are some funny storeys there, thanks for reassureing me about wee mistakes and accidents as you guys say it is better to have a small accident than a large one anyway hes much better now and sitting on the sofa playing bop-it, so he cant be that bad anymore still gave me a fright though:rolleyes:
  7. aye he will have a nice wee reminder for a few days im sure he already seems back to normal still got his fingers in the sink though, hes a wee drama queen ill get it all nite!!! "dad my fingers are sore, do this for me" lol anyway im sure he will be ok i just wanted to remind you all as its so easy to forget these things and the fact that you cant miss the exhaust on our cars doesnt help ofcourse:rolleyes:
  8. i hope not, even im still shaking:(
  9. hey all:( i just thought id post a thread to remember all you guys not to be as stupid as me today well it was a good day so me and my 3yr old boy (josh) decided to go play in the park, feed the ducks etc anyway it was when i was going home, we pulled into the drive switched off the car and got out, while getting a few messages from the back seat i diddnt realise josh had got out the car, gone round the back of the car and grabbed hold of the exhaust!!! he got a fright at first then the burn must have started, tears flying everywhere!!! so now were playing in the sink with the cold tap on trying to take the heat out his fingers he has 3 blisters on his first three index fingers, all from a fraction of a second i diddnt even see him go round there, if i had i would have told him not to so please parents keep a eye on the kids at the car, i feel so bad (i should have been watching) alex and poor josh
  10. when is that on mate? i may pop up too alex
  11. couldent agree more;) still i wish toyota would atleast try, i mean honda did it with the nsx so come on toyota get on with it:cool:
  12. hey ollie, i diddnt have any accidents, claims or points on my licence, yet i was quoted over 100 quid more on renewal, thats why i diddnt even try sky when i got the skyline as for the service thing, i just think its a few employees of sky letting you down, but when calling i diddnt always get to speak to you and that would be the case for many members here im sure. but as i said once you got wind of it you were rite on it, still by that time i had already sorted other arrangements still good idea with the price freeze alex
  13. hey homer try a-plan matey i did for the skyline, tbh i wouldent give sky another look, they hiked the price of my renewal up alot and blamed it on insurance costs, the service wasnt the best either, i must admit though once ollie got wind of it he atlease tryed to put it rite
