  1. Just got back from watching it, very very funny indeed
  2. that was on about 6 months ago, maybe longer, my current bit of stuff was like "mmm i would":(
  3. Green pt wins hands down every time for me, any one can plod along in trainers, different story when the logs, stretchers, ammo tins, Jerry cans and tyres come out to play :-)
  4. I'll never forget doing a log run and we had a guy over from UAE and was a lazy sod and would only run by the side of the log, any way the Ssgt shouted at him to shift his arse and get on the log, which he did, however............. i was at the front and did not expect 12 stone of guy plus webbing to jump on the log, I collapsed in the ditch due to the extra weight lol.
  5. I think the original Honda Fireblade will be a future classic, the RRN model with the twin round headlights. In Black and Silver of course!!
  6. I'm ex military and there was lads on my old bases with 2-3 vehicles, You'll get a car pass for the barracks and for each vehicle, which you'll show at the camp gate when you come back from being out and about in your car. The only problem you may have is parking spaces, some camps are getting quite full up at the mo. Richie
  7. I've got the same bike, had it about 6 months and have given it a really hard time over winter and its not let me down once, I would recommend this bike as a starter for sure.
  8. Is that whats been happening? edit:- Just goggled it
  9. Mine went down tonight from about 16:00 to around 18:30, had signal but could not send or receive calls or send text messages, then all of a sudden it come back on again. PITA
  10. shhhh thats supposed to be a secret where you see my van!!!! i've just pm'd jonathan, didnt realize he was local, that'll teach me to look in future cheers Richie
  11. As some of the others have said, add up all your light bulbs that will give you your total wattage at max output, most dimmers are rated at 250w and 400w, if you going to get another dimmer then make sure it is capable of taking max load of the light bulbs. However if your going to do away with the dimmer and just use a switch then theses are rated in amps, normally 6 amps which should be sufficient, If my memory serves me right i think the company MK rate there switches at 10 amps. Dont buy a shit quality switch, spend your money and get something like an MK one, diy stores own stuff is shit. What we mean when we say is it one way or two way is if you walk in one dorr and turn it on can you walk out another door and turn them off? if so thats 2 way and you need to make sure the switch you buy is 2 way (it'll say on the packet). As for turning off the electrics do it from the fuse board. on the circuit your planning on working on. Richie
  12. Been to see a shop today and after having a chat with the guy and telling him about what work i am going to be doing, he is going to get in a Stihl ms280-i for me to look at and have a feel of for weight, he recommends a 16" bar would be adequate for my uses. So i also going to have a look at the husquvarna 353 as well just to get some comparison.
  13. Yeh thats the new one, as your in the know (still doing landscaping)????? what would you recommend then size wise? is an 18" bar to long or would that be ok to do all? I mean is there anywhere round here that does second hand stuff in good condition?
