  1. Throwing my toys out the pram. Aye ok then mate.
  2. The bridge is in a class D flight zone and not anywhere near the main flight path.
  3. Just use your statutory rights and get full refunds after the event Drift bear
  4. Hi folks This event was originally planned on facebook, so if you want to see more info add me as a friend on facebook and I can send an invite. Name is - Costas Trataris 3rd Sept Sunday, 12:30 McDonald's Newbridge Edinburgh Newbridge Industrial Estate, EH28 8LQ Edinburgh, United Kingdom This is a Supra ONLY meet to celebrate the Supra MKIV upcoming 25th Birthday. This will be a fully filmed event on the road and in the air with technologies latest 4k cameras. The meet is to start off at newbridge (McDonalds/Premier Inn Car park) where our route will be re-confirmed and filming sequences organised. After Newbridge we will head across the new forth road bridge named - queensferry crossing this will give us some spectacular shots from the air. After that we head down the A985 till we reach the Devilla Forest Trail car park which includes a BBQ area for some munchies and admire our fellow supras, We then head off across the kincardine bridge for some more arial shots then onto the M9 Past Stirling, leading to the A84 scenic route to get some amazing mountain and loch shots of the Glencoe Area. If anyone has any suggestions for the route or some views we must involve the supras in then do let us know. Filming will be by Wolf Star Pictures the company that brought you Driftland The Grand Opening video and ONE3MEDIA the company that brought you "Up in Smoke" will also be joining us. 5. Hey folks Looking for Any spare Supra MKIV TT engine bay bling u have. Fan shrouds, Bolt/washer sets (blue preferably), shock arm, Relay lid, cooling plate etc. Let me know what u got and price delivered (unless your local to central belt of scotland) Cheers
  6. its got the stock seats in just now, pretty good condition with 1 hole. Not sure if I should replace if im selling in september. You know what size of restrictor ring? 1 bar? 1.2 bar?
  7. cheers for that Kay Jay, compared them to the veilside and thought they looked identical. Do you remember fitting a restrictor ring? Swampy I think its the whole ignition system. because when it pops, whole car shuts down, cant turn it back on. 0 dash lights etc.
  8. Day 2 AM2 30amp Fuse is giving me hell. It's completely melted the connectors. I suspect either a bad earth or shitty potholes has caused it to jump out and short leaving a nasty surprise. Found a talented car electrician that has come recommended. Booked an appointment for him to come out in a couple days. See if the fuse box itself needs replacing or just the connectors. Also tackle the rest of the small electrical issues whilst we are at it (and get my beloved cruise control back, oh how i miss it )
  9. Day 1 Tried Refurbing the headlights with compound machine polish (didnt sand down first) It worked to some extent and there is a noticeable difference but most of the "damage" is on the inside So looks like im going to follow the guide here http://www.supraforums.com.au/forum/topic/77107-supra-headlight-restoration-guide/ and do a black spray on the inside while i'm at it.
  10. **PICTURE HEAVY** Hi Folks My first supra TT Auto 1994 has been running extremely well, for 115k miles the engine has not given a single bit of bother. Car has sat dormant for almost 3 years, so time for spring cleaning. I am getting married in september, then immigrating to canada in november. I would love to take the supra with me but we need the money to settle down. So i plan to sell the Supra by about end september. Being almost a 24 year old car, its started to show on it's smaller issues. So my plan is to make this supra as perfect as i possibly can to give it a good send off before i start the next chapter of my life. current mod list: Front mount intercooler Blitz nur spec R Blitz bov Airintake Gizzmo ms2 boost controller Trail rear bumper front splitter Top Secret Sideskirts Current to do list: Refurb Headlights Paint intercooler Rubber strip for Bumper/Bonnet Alloy Swap + Tyre Stickers New Seats (maybe... up for debate) Boost Controller diagnosis (might be faulty or just old and shit) Boost Gauge and AFR Gauge Am2 slot in Fuse Box is fucked. Tidy engine bay problem solve aerial motor Upgrade fuel pump General electrical problems (headlights and electric windows effect what dash lights come on and how bright, radiator, oil light etc.) Reinstate cruise control (i love cruise control) replace spark plugs to Denso/NGK Iridium - IK22 I'm not a mechanic or have any family that is, what i do know is learned off the internet and stalking mechanics i have befriended in their garages. So please correct me if you see anything off. Also any advisements or advice would be appreciated.
  11. uk steel turbos are stronger than the jap ceramic versions. That being said with your injectors and not knowing your spec list. I would be safe and keep the boost at 1.2 bar (make sure you have a RR) if you live a little on the wild side then you could up the boost to 1.3 or 1.4 and usually you would be ok but your risk is a bit higher.
  12. Cheers guys, yeah ive had a few sleepless nights from all this excitement. On the Nitol now LOL. Burna no, just stock traction control.
  13. Good thing I had my wife and mechanic friend in the car behind me checking for smoke etc while the supra was on a run. No issues they could see out back
  14. If im really honest, i was so excited after the run in the supra, i forgot to even check the back of the car while it was still running. I literally got out, looked at the owner and said "im buying it!!"
  15. Cheers Frank, yeah i read through the guide before i went to see it. Very handy! I mentioned the ABS to the owner and he said he will check it for me and replace if needed. Hitbox it didn't smoke at all on start up, not even a puff. Only a stead stream of white smoke after 5 mins of idle. The kind of white smoke you see on every car on the road on a frosty morning. Overall i am mega excited to pick this up, ive been waiting so long to own a supra and i've had 2 sleepless nights just thinking about it lol.
