  1. If you fancy having a go up the Prescott Hill Climb in Gloucestershire there is a car club day on Sunday 29th September. They are untimed runs and you get four tickets to run up the hill during the day. We usually get a few Supras meeting up there, and whilst they are definitely not built for hill climbing, but we put on a good show! Tickets are selling fast on the link - Prescott Car Club Day 2024 | Prescott Hill Climb www.prescotthillclimb.co.uk/event-details/prescott-car-club-day-2024-2
  2. Hello Little Num - just imagine how quick it would have gone if you put a turbo on it!! :-)
  3. No launch control so I had to sit at idle on the line.... ET - 12.69 60ft - 2.559 (just shows setting off from idle is not ideal!!) 1/4 mile - 122.4 Big single with DCT gearbox and hilarious amounts of wheelspin :-) Best run of the day was against the "HARTY" car, he beat me by a few car lengths, but it really came down to who dealt with the wheelspin better - I guess he did!
  4. That's for spotting that. I guess I need those parts too then! The TT6 which went up for breaking has already had the diff bought from it :-(
  5. Hi Folks, I am after a big case LSD from a TT6 for my next upgrade - I can collect if that helps! Cheers Lee
  6. Speak to Keron on this forum - he breaks loads of supras - I am sure he will find you a second hand one
  7. Yep, two originals lasted until 1999, then 2 of Leon Greens hybrids lasted until 2009, then 2 of AETs hybrids lasted until 2014, and now a big single is going on. At least the single is less likely to fail and easier to un-bolt if it does!!!
  8. I got mine on 17th Nov 1997 and apart from 7 turbos and a complete rebuild its pretty much original!!!
  9. As Dunk says, the upper rear wishbones have two bushes and a ball joint each. I bought a bush kit and was going to leave the ball joints. As it turned out, one of the ball joints was shot, and I damaged the other wishbone during dis-assembly. I know its more cost but I really recommend buying new OEM rear wishbones and not bothering trying to replace the bushes on them. The other rear bushes are pretty straightforward, and it makes a massive improvement to the handling of the car. I bought a set of SuperPro bushes from Whifbitz, and new upper wishbones from my friendly Toyota dealer.
  10. Thats the kind of thing I had in mind. Has anyone got one of the Mocals fitted there? There just seems to be a yawning space with nothing connect brackets on to!
  11. I have bought a 13 row Whifbitz auto box cooler kit. and have now spent a couple of hours trawling the threads trying to find a picture of one fitted. I dont really fancy sandwiching it in between the rad and the FMIC, so the side vents look quite tempting! Paul is away on a well earned holiday, so I cant ask him! Can anyone point me in the right direction? Cheers Lee
  12. This is my 100th post in 11 years! As my grandad used to say if you haven't got anything useful to say, say nowt.
  13. Hmmm, thought I might have a chance here but its just over 6600. Bet I have had mine the longest though, I bought it in 1996, and 6 turbos later its still my favourite :-)
  14. I have sent Keron a pm a day or so ago. Does anyone else know the answer?
  15. Hi Folks, I need a new rear subframe for my 93TT Auto Aerotop. Looking on the EPC all the models seem to have the same part number - can someone confirm this before I waste money on the wrong thing? The scappies are tending to have non turbo autos for example. Thanks!
