  1. Newbie Looking for some guidance. Anyone assist. Car is an Aristo 2JZ GTE Non VVTI I am doing an engine conversion into a non Toyota Car and i am on the last bits and a bit stuck so looking for some advice. In one of the pictures there is a pipe with blue bit on it coming from throttle body, does anyone know where it goes? I have plumbed in all water pipes i need and have one outlet on top of the radiator, i am assuming this goes to an expansion tank which is fine. The expansion tanks i have seen have a secondary outlet usually at the bottom where does that go? See pictures. Going after market management and looking at coil packs at the moment what power is a standard coil pack good for? I hear you can use audi r8 ones, do they pop straight in or do you need brackets for them to keep them in place, same for Yaris packs? The power steering steering pump does picture look right?
  2. Hi there looking for a single turbo for my 2jz gte. Will have cams, and everything else standard engine wise. Can anyone recommend a turbo for around 650 hp. I have about 1k to spend so need quick spooling turbo. Any links would be greatly appreciated, if any names are suggested can someone please put like the full name of the turbo. I have seen these but not sure about them? BorgWarner KKK K28 Spec: Large alloy compressor housing with 2.5in inlet and 2in v-band outlet. 87mm 7+7 blade compressor wheel with 57mm inducer, capable of over 600bhp. Rare water and oil cooled core with 360deg thrust bearing and heavy duty shaft. K28 turbine housing, 23cm, with single scroll T6 inlet and 6 bolt outlet. K28 quick response 12 blade 72mm exducer turbine wheel (81mm inducer). Garrett GT4288 700bhp+ T4 twin scroll turbo Spec: Huge alloy 0.72 A/R Garrett compressor housing with 4in inlet and 2.5in v-band outlet. 88mm 6+6 blade compressor wheel with 65mm inducer, capable of 700bhp+ on the right engine. Heavy duty oil cooled center core with 360degree thrust bearing. 1.28 A/R twin scroll turbine housing with T4 inlet flange and v-band outlet. 72mm exducer (82mm inducer) high flow 10 blade turbine wheel. Looking to change injectors now the options i have top feel fuel rail or Denso Side feed injectors. My question is Are the Denso/ Sard injectors any good. Found a brand new set and just want to know if they are ok? If a top rail feel is better, is the fuel rail easy to fit? Also got the below taking up space, free to anyone that wants them. Postage will be between 5 and 10 quid depending on item but actual items free.
  3. Here is pick of water pump and alternator for my aristo engine both supra items
  4. Right got some pictures today. Just cant seem to think why the alternator would foul the water pump. The pulley lines up with rest of the pulleys. To confirm its an aristo 2jz gte 1995 non vvti, i purchased a supra water pump kit and fitting it as i didnt want all the crap to do with the hydrofan. The water pump complete with back housing and was bolted on. The aristo alternator was then replaced with a supra alternator. Is the alternator slightly different?
  5. Hi there got toyota Aristo 2jz gte engine, non vvti and it had the waterpump with built in system from hydrofan. Now i have removed the pump and replaced with a water pump from a toyota supra. The water pump fits perfectly however the new alternator i have is fouling the water pump so the top hole doesnt line up. The water pump was complete with back housing. Is the alternator or you think the Waterpump thats the problem. Pictures attached. looking for 800cc side fed injectors, any recommendations of where to get a set and what brand is best. I know you can get top feed rail but trying to avoid that if possible.
  6. Hi thanks for reply the two small ones and gasket I’ve Blanked out a i know what they are So one seal is for pump to block One for thermostat That leaves one other big seal?
  7. There are three seals not where they go? Anyone help, other ones i figured out but dont remember seeing the other 3 come off the engine when i took pump off?
  8. Coolant sensors I believe are on the water elbow black round one makes sense
  9. Thanks for reply back, the injectors in link would I need a top feed rail? Is there side fed injectors easily available?
  10. Thanks for reply, ordered a complete supra water pump with house so all good. Water temperature sensors i now understand so thanks for your help with that. Crank Pulley, Jesus Christ, the crank is locked, got some heat on it, had a 1m breaker bar then half meter extension bar and the breaker bar was just bending and bolt solid FML Rather than starting a new thread, could you guys help with another couple of questions. There are two small what look like vacuum lines, along side bigger diameter water pipe, the pipes go to a black cylinder at rear of block, do i need the pipes and cylinder? I am going single turbo. Looking for 850cc injectors, there are a lot of Denso ones online, are they any good? Seem cheap for what they are? Got around 500 quid to spend. Preferably plug and play items. Seen the ones in the link. Thanks in advance PS anyone from the Glasgow area? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Set-of-6-TOYOTA-800cc-Denso-Side-Feed-Fuel-Injectors-Supra-2JZ-1JZ-GTE-1J-2J-E85/142476917705?epid=1342631267&hash=item212c493bc9:g:AcUAAOSw6H5alH8c
  11. Help need with a couple of questions: 1. Can anyone identify what model this water pump is from. I was told the engine is a 2jz gte from an aristo 1996 but all the ones i have seen are different? Most of them have 4 bolts for pulley, i am assuming the whole unit gets replaced as one, picture attached and also noticed the one i have has a vertical part that connects to the water elbow. Is this off a different car? 2. On the water elbow there are two sensors one is water sensor (Bigger one) and small black one what is that for? 3. Just to triple check the crank pulley to take off its anti clockwise? Its solid Pictures attached.
  12. Help needed: The two sensors, what are they? I have a feeling the blue one is water temperature, not sure what black one is? Couple of other questions: 1. The fuel into the inlet manifold is at the end closest to bulkhead and return near the middle behind injectors. 2. Looking for size of the bolt that blanks off the right hand oil feed to turbo when doing single turbo conversion. 3. How huge a difference does it make having internal wastegate compared to external? Thanks in advance. Picture should be attached.
