  1. Where abouts ? I like in Sheffield, but the cars at my dads in Rotherham. Be handy to know someone local who’s got some knowledge for us
  2. Never been sold on the bumper 100% to be fair, thinking of going back stock with a splitter, or going for a Do Luck looking one.
  3. Hi. Yeah that's mine, head gasket went last year so me and my Dad have been sorting that and getting it back on the road. And no, sorry it's not for sale. Also if anyone knows what front bumper it is, I would be interested in finding out. 99% sure its not a Veilside one as that was on before it had a bump and we changed it.
  4. Hi, With my coilovers I had to use my original rubber boot insulator and bump stop and they've both seen better days so wouldn't mind replacing them. Ive found the part numbers and searched them online and the prices are incredible. Has anyone used a universal boot insulator or anything along them lines? Or does anyone know somewhere that sells them for a prices that arent silly. Ta
  5. Thanks for the info. I’ve sourced the full housing now an Aisin one same as what I’ve taken off.
  6. Perfect, thank you!!! I wondered if they changed over the years or maybe the Lexus 2JZ’s might be slightly different as this one doesn’t line up with the holes on the pump with the housing.
  7. I ordered a new water pump the other week, not the full housing just the front actual pump section. The one I was sent was not the right one for my car even though it should have been! Has anyone got the correct part number or can point me in the right direction. 93 JDM Manual 2JZ-GE. Reg is K930PFB. Do the different GE engines have different water pumps ??
  8. Yeah especially after me and my dad tackled the Blown head gasket ourselves. Started first time and when we got it ticking over nicely it sounded sweet! Just a few little things to rectify like the tick over, bleeding the water system because it’s got an airlock in the heater matrix now.
  9. Yeah we did, we were just overthinking it and all the marks are lifting up fine. Fired it up and it’s running, just got to tweak it now to get it running spot on!
  10. Yeah that’s exactly what we’ve realised, we’ve just had w brain dead moment and thought the belts marks had to line up! All the marks that should line up, do line up ! Cheers for the replies anyways !
  11. It’s okay I think we were over thinking it, the marks line up on the bottom crank to the mark on the engine and the marks on the cams line up with the grooves, we marked the belt but the belt would move one every time I believe ! Cranked it quite a few times by hand now and all the marks on the car line up perfect ! I could be wrong about the belt thing though if someone wants to correct me!
  12. All stripped and put back on again and every time we crank by hand it moves one tooth on the belt but the bottom marks and the marks on the cam wheels are exactly where they need to be ? Dodgy belt maybe? Absolutely baffled
  13. Yeah followed the guide exactly! New tensioner, new belt etc, we’re just doing that now to figure out why and refit it again like you said! Cheers
  14. Help needed. Problems again, cranking the car by hand to make sure everything is good and when we’ve don’t one full rotation the belt is out by one tooth and it has us confused. Anyone come across this before ?!
  15. Hi all, Started the car up after replacing a blown HG. We’ve changed pretty much all seals on the engine with the gasket kit, and when starting up it ran fine first time. It slowly then started to run worse. Black smoke from the exhaust so we assumed over fueling. Check the injectors and petrol was leaking from the freshly fitted seals we changed. When we’ve stripped it back, it looks like the seals have expanded which I can’t figure out for the life of me why? Has anyone had the same issue, and does anyone know of a reputable place to buy just the seals from ? Thanks in advance Oh car is 93 JDM NA model
