  1. My 96 SZ Tagra top, owned since 2004 (this is my favourite recent photo taken about 1 month ago!) Have always loved my NA but the last few years Ive desired more power. Seriously considering Na-T but it does seem to bring some complications so im in limbo. Its currently completely stock apart from the wheels. Not sure why the photo is so small Some great NAs in this thread!

Yes I have heard the testers often use the wrong base car which has higher controls and results in failure... I'm ok with this side, it's more the fact if a cat has been removed it's a fail.. Would fitting a sports cat be a workable solution?

I've been planning to go Na-t for a few years and nearly ready financially, however I am also facing this problem. Mine is a 96 import so I think I will certainly have issues. I also believe that even if your car passes the emission test, if a cat was present before and has been removed, it will fail the MoT. For myself, finding a friendly test centre OR putting the old cat back each year both seem unlikely ..
  4. Awesome.. great photos and good read, will pick up this edition. Always inspiring to read your thread (especially for us NA owners!)...
  5. Planning to book mine in at Whifbitz this July or August for their NA-T kit... reading this only makes me more excited. Would love to do it myself but I just don't have the skills, tools or patience.. I followed the Facebook posts and your Supra looks amazing!
  6. I should add the misting was very minor and cleared very quickly. Ive had them since June and it just happened a few times so it's really not a big deal. Oddly it seemed to happen on the passenger side only. If it rains heavily there is never misting..
  7. Had a brand new Facelift set in June and fitted them with no sealant. The first time I washed them they misted up... Needless to say i was a bit gutted Since then I try to wash the car when the humidity is quite low to minimize any issues, and so far its worked... I did add some sealant on the back of the lights fittings as it just seemed logical (to stop any water splashing in).. I assumed there would always be moisture in the lens due to their free flowing design, and when you wash them with cold water it was going to draw the water to the inside of the lens (just like condensation in a house).. but i'm obviously not an expert!!! My fear is that eventually the misting will get worse and start leaving water marks on the inside

Count me in on a set of facelifts when they are ready! Cheers
  9. 2004 Toyota Prius! A little different to my Supra but I used to do a lot of driving (much less now) so it proved a good choice. £10 a year road tax. Just this week I did a 360 round trip with an average MPG of 64 which is not bad for quite a spacious car. Also its amazingly reliable, I've owned it for 5 years and literally nothing has failed (touch wood) except the rear brake lights (which involved replacing the whole unit!)
  10. Looks really nice mate.. this is a route I am looking to take in the next couple of months (Whifbitz NA-T Kit)
  11. Ok.. always thought it looked a pretty nice Supra! I think there used to be a bus driving Supra owner in Poole also, as one time a bus driver jumped out of his fully loaded bus to give me a MKIV Supras owners club card!! (which still sits in my glove box). Still one of my funniest Supra moments! That must have been 4-6 years ago In Parkstone highstreet No idea what the passengers thought..

  13. Hi Hitbox Junkie, mine is RSP.. it's been off road for the past few years so you won't have seen it about much..occasionally spotted up by the hospital or occasionally down by Poole Quay .. I used to see a lovely Supra up in the sunseeker car park but not recently.
  14. Hey mate, i will certainly keep that in mind, as the paint on yours looked fantastic! Must admit it would be a bit of a journey to get to the IoW but maybe can make a short break of it! Will let you know! Cheers
  15. Any recommendations for a good body shop in Bournemouth and Poole? Finally giving my Supra some TLC after a few years of neglect. New facelift headlights ordered & getting alloys refurbished hopefully in the next few weeks. That just leaves a couple of items on the body work id love to get fixed! (rust bubbles on the tagra top and some general paint work on the body). Thanks in advance! Paul
