  1. Hi guys, Well the day has finally come. I need to sell the Supra for several reasons - I've got no room to keep it and I can't afford the insurance at present. I also need to raise some money in a hurry! It's listed on eBay but I'm open to offers. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280614674462 I've made met a lot of decent people through this club, so will still say hello from time to time! Regards, Scott

No, but I only live a few miles away so can pop in and check them out if you want.
  3. I'm selling off all the bits I've got lying around the house/shed on eBay. I'll be updating the listings with more and more stuff over the next few days. There is a right mix of stuff, including some Supra parts. eBay Listings
  4. Whilst you've got more than enough opinions I've done the last 15k miles on mine with no BOV without issue too.
  5. Congratulations mate, hope it's all smooth sailing
  6. I remember people getting go-away quotes from Toyota of over £1k for a clutch change! I don't understand the problem someone else mentioned earlier with the cambelt; it's a relatively quick job
  7. Thats a job I definitely didn't enjoy on my ST205 either. I just dropped the engine and box out the bottom and split them though. Amusingly the clutch lunched itself later whilst I was away from home. A local garage looked in their book and quoted me £200 + parts to change it. I bit their arm off, they did it and to be fair to them they honoured the quote despite it taking them a lot longer than they thought it would
  8. It's been discussed at length on other forums and insurance people confirmed that whilst they can wriggle out of paying everything they will still be liable for 3rd party payment in the event of no RFL and/or no MOT. There is a lot of scaremongering about it, but it appears to actually be very difficult for an insurance company to negate their 3rd party commitments. As long as the insurance company are still covering 3rd party responsibility then you obviously have insurance and cannot be prosecuted for not having it.
  9. Benefits is a very generic term. A large amount of the country receive benefits for a wide range of reasons - not necessarily simply for bills, food or clothes.
  10. To be honest the message comes across as a bit of a confused one to me.
  11. API limitation annoys me. As a developer (amongst other things) I like the fact that on a droid I can do pretty much whatever I like. Even RIM were better than that and didn't charge me a fortune for access to restricted APIs. I guess this platform is targetted at the exact opposite of me since I don't use xbox live or any MS server products either!
  12. He's not trying hard enough! That said I've already pegged mine as being pretty much worthless at 240k miles.

LOL, thanks. No-one ever believes I can fit that entire PA rig - speakers, lights and all in the Supra. Just.

  15. 130k miles isn't high mileage IMHO. For that budget I wouldn't recommend a single conversion unless you are handy with the tools and get lucky with buying parts.
