I think just sell it. I was in the same boat 6 yrs ago had a supra twin turbo 6 speed. Owned it for 9 years in the end just didn't use it enough. My only slight regret is seeing how much it would be worth now. But it's only money and I've been able to free up space and buy other more modern cars. The car would hopefully go to a collector with a huge collection.

Hello Been out the supra loop for a while, can't see any to compare. I have a set of j-spec alloys, poor condition need reconditioning, I wouldn't use the tyres either. Do they have a value? Thanks

just sorting my stuff out, got a TRD gearbox mount 6 speed. How much is this worth, its new never been fitted?
-
mines also like this, getting pretty bad now, its gone all the way round the seal, does the whole boot lid need painting?
-
arent you suppose to throw a number in?

Report it to the insurance dont deal with this guy yourself, i can see issuse's, whos to say he wont string you along tell you he will give you the earth. then have a good think and pull out. Do you even have proof you car went in to his garage. Its hard to prove either way!! So he says 15k to repair, how does he acept paying 15k to repair a car. when his own insurance premium would be hard pushed to go up 15k It all sounds to good to be true. telling you what you what to hear.

Let the insurance do the talking, If they deem it not repairable then it most likely isnt from a value point of view. Its unfortunate but well if you ever come to sell it, on this forum especially people will be wary. And if you sell it else where. Your always have to be honest, unless you dont have a conscience.

Id get a secound opinion on this from another garage, Looks like alot of damage. You would be better getting there insurance involved, if that had been my company id of surely done it through insurance (makes you think are they insured) and ask yourself will it be worth the same when its repaired?
-
wow this is seriously bad, id love to have seen it from the exterior. Im kinda glad i got a j spec which is always in the garage. but you just dont know what lies beneath!
-
think personally id pay half of it, very fair. couldnt you of got a quote before hand?

I dont understand why its all itemised, i think the issue for me is why they do one job and stop doing it like that will take longer no doubt. From what i can see, they have done a cambelt change, fitted new cams with pulleys. a bit excessive yes

A video would be a good start, could it not be a mix of oil and water. surely it would be smoking like hell also. for it to be petrol im sure it would evaporate quite quickly before exit
