  1. Hi, is the wishbone still available? If so how much including postage to DT73BE please?

  3. Hi, would anyone have a pair of rear upper A arms or wishbones with good ball joints but needing rubber bushes they would sell me? I have just got MOT advisory for worn bushes on both sides. I can’t afford to have the car off the road for too long fixing the bushes so thought if I rebuilt a spare pair first I could save time when I comes to do the fix. I can’t afford to buy new wishbones for both sides!
  4. Hi, I am looking for an unmarked black boot carpet and luggage cover. Cheers.
  5. Guys, thanks for the advice. Put in a new battery and fired in an instant!!! All happy here!
  6. I've just checked Toolstation and will go in tomorrow after work and get one. What voltage should I get as a minimum from the battery terminals?
  7. I haven't got one. I asked a couple of neighbours last night but they didn't have one. Could it be the battery ? The condition indicator is showing a green tint and when i connect my battery charger it says it is Ok, but I can't say how accurate it is, but it is a few years old now. When I turn the ignition key to starter it sounds like there's a hammer drill in the starter. I f I can find a meter what would be a good reading across the battery terminals or where else should I check the voltage?
  8. One thought, can I run a temporary wire from the small terminal on the solenoid to the battery positive terminal ( perhaps via a switch?) to see if the starter would turn the engine over? I am thinking if putting power on that terminal, this should pull the solenoid shut and give battery power to the starter and therefore it should turn over but not fire? Or am I over simplifying it or missed something?
  9. My Supra doesn't get used too much these days, but last weekend I used it and again this Monday to go to work (50 miles). Anyway got back from work left it in the drive and then 10 minutes later I went to start it and all I got was a loud noise like Woody Woodpecker at work on the starter! I checked the battery and the charger said it was 90 % good. I,ve pulled the starter and swapped out the solenoid contacts tonight, but Woody is still there, no change. All dash lights seam OK. Any ideas?? Andy
  10. Thanks Nic for the VIN info and as I thought it looks like Thor is gone. Cheers Cloudder
  11. Hi Guys, I might have missed info on these in previous posts, but has Thor Racing gone out of business, so no more V8 with manual conversion? Also, when looking at a UK spec Supra is there any clues on the VIN plate to identify it as genuine? Cheers, Cloudder
  12. We too visited the stand today and was impressed.... A great representation of the club, the cars and us the enthusiasts. Top job to you. The Supra was designed to be driven and enjoyed.... Not locked away! (Mind you, I took mine for an MOT on Friday and got bollocked by the garage as the car had only done 11 miles in 12 months. I must try harder!). Cloudder
  13. We're going to try to get to the NEC on Sunday so will try to find you guys and say hello.
  14. Yep, we've been getting them on and off for the last couple of months. Luckily they end up in spam and we delete them without opening them. A right pain in the ......!
