  1. I know this is an old post, but is there a new website or something? I found the site last month and was planning to make an order but now the linked Magic-Monkey site goes to some sticker and stencil company. Hoping they are still making layover faces... Anyone have some contact info they don't mind sharing?
  2. I bet those hoses are rock hard too... I too think its best to suck it up and pull the manifold apart anyway to clean up the engine and make sure everything else is up to par. Thanks for the input gents! anyone have a good set of pic or a diagram of the intake manifold hosing and such?
  3. looking for some ideas on where to start without physically pulling the intake manifold off to troubleshoot. I rebuilt my rear brakes and took the car out for a spirited drive about 5 miles total probably and felt GREAT. got home and noticed a little steam, it's cold here so I wasnt super concerned until I saw coolant dripping from under the intake manidfold somewhere. I did some searches on the forum and saw that the NA has a coolant line that goes to the oil filter housing, I know MOST cars have a couple of coolant lines that run in between the upper/lower intake manifold. I planned to pull the intake mani at some point to clean everything and replace some hoses, but now i HAVE to.... Anyone have some ideas on where to start looking? its literally UNDER the central part of the manifold. I wanted to rebuild/re-ring the injector system while I have it apart. anyone have a digram or pictures of the coolant lines under the intake manifold and is there a way to replace the lines without taking it all off? like from under the car perhaps? looking for a quick fix to get me by for a while...LOL its COLD outside
  4. I have a '93 twin turbo JDM GZ model that started life with the smaller brakes. I've replaced the fronts with the big 4 piston calipers, but the rears are still the single piston. I'm looking for a rebuild kit for the rear calipers but it seems like I can only find the kit for the bigger two piston rears. 1. Are the early model twin turbo rear brakes the same as the NA? (and are the rear rotors ALSO the same as the NA?) 2. Anyone know the part number for the little rear brake rebuild kits? 3. Anyone have a pair of used two piston calipers for sale at an affordable price.....?? LOL (PM me if you do....)
  5. Thanks everyone. The 2 liter trick worked perfect, flushed the system really well and got all the air out. its nice and quiet now!
  6. I did pull the res out and cleaned it out with brake parts cleaner then aired it out for about a month LOL. About to go out and perform the 2 liter trick and try to do a full fluid change..
  7. yeah, I bought some euro brand ATF Dex 2/3. Tomorrow morning I will perform the 2 liter flush trick and see how it goes...
  8. Bought my MK4 TT Auto about 3 months ago, immediately parked it to work out some concerns I had such as changing the timing belt and all the maintenance that I wanted to ensure was done. Part of my concern was a thorough cleaning of entire engine bay and degreasing the engine. I pulled the PS pump off to rebuild it and finally today I was ready to fire it up and see how it ran. PS Pump was screaming. had a full reservoir, but I didn't think to keep an eye on the fluid level. Opened the cap and the fluid was frothy as hell. Shut the car off and turned from lock to lock to get the air out, topped the res off and tried starting the car again with the cap on the res. pump was a little quieter, pulled the cap off and the fluid was frothing and flowing over so I shut the car off, jacked it up and turned from lock to lock again till it looked like the bubbles stopped. Had my kid start the car again (had the cap off the res this time) and the fluid shot out of the res like a geyser. I threw my tools in the box and walked away.. WTF?? it was like 2 feet high HAHA I'm guessing it has to be air in the lines still, but it looks like the fluid is pressurizing in the reservoir. I went to the store and bought two fresh liters of fluid and planned to try to flush, my concern though is how much pressure its making, its acting as iff the pump feed and the return are switched, I know thats impossible since the sizes are so different, but I'm still super confused! Any ideas??
  9. Thanks, I pulled the line off today to take a look. its in great shape, so I may not replace it just yet.
  10. Thanks for the input guys! I have'nt pulled the intake manifold off yet, is it all hard lined or is there a section of rubber/fuel hose that ties it all together like most other cars??
  11. '93 TT/RHD GZ Supra. I'm going to pull my intake manifold off soon to clean it and freshen up the bits, thought it would be a good idea to replace the fuel lines while I'm in there. anyone know what size the fuel lines are? I need to order the right size from the states.. pretty sure the parts stores here in Germany don't typically sell that stuff. any ideas for other things that i should replace while I'm at it? will most likely order gaskets, MAYBE O-rings for the injectors. Thanks!
  12. Question: I have an aftermarket BOV but the previous owner never did anything with the stock valve. is there any harm with me just pulling the valve and connecting these two ports together?? OR is it best to just put some kind of caps on the ports?? (Blue Square in picture) Next Question: Can someone PLEASE chime in with the correct name and part number for these dang Accordion hoses for the turbo lines. Please and Thank you!! (Red circle in picture..) Bonus Question: Has anyone replaced all their hoses with silicone? if so, what ID sizes did you buy? *Again, Thank you!!! *I'm referring mostly to the lines all over the big vacuum manifold and the turbo system. I know I can easily order the water lines for the rad, but dont want to waste time or money buying random sized silicon hoses for the stuff if someone out there already knows what worked well for their caf
  13. what brand is that downpipe?
