  1. Yeh looks like a project runs and drives apparently. I know what you mean though, anyone serious would have to go have a good look around for sure!
  2. Hi all, Just a heads up for anyone after a mk4. There is a black NA on co part right now at £5000 bids. Needs a restoration. It’s unrecorded can’t see any major damage. It ends tomorrow I believe. Check the classic car section. Just thought I’d let you know. James.
  3. Okay thanks for that I’ll have a look. Let me know how it goes lol.
  4. Hi all, I have a UK mk4 TT and I’m looking to upgrade the stock fuel pipes, hoses and fittings from the tank to the engine. Iv tried to search for information but so for haven’t found much regarding diameter, lengths etc. I know speedflow have supplied the hard pipes and braided hoses to forum members in the past and hoped they might have a ‘pattern’ if you like for all the parts but they don’t. If anyone knows the sizes I need I’d be very grateful or if you have ordered the same thing from speedflow in the past they can pull up the records and hopefully supply me with the same. The cars garaged at the minute and don’t have access to a ramp right now. Thank you
  5. Not sure if this has already been mentioned but have you seen the MkV Supra Heritage Edition? 500hp and MkVI looks. They should have made the stock model more like this. I like many others hate the fact its basically a z4. I visited Japan in March on a driving holiday and by chance came across probably the first MkV 2JZ swapped drift car. He was testing at fuji speedway, we took a wrong turn at the track and discovered it. Couldn't believe my eyes!
  6. Okay so I thought I could find some info online as to which wire is which on the dimmer but im struggling. There are only 3 wires green/orange, black/white and green/white. I understand you can test with a multimeter but I don’t usually get involved with this kind of thing so I don’t have one. It’s just knowing which one to get power from so they work with my headlights. If anyone can help would be appreciated.
  7. Sound, thought so I’ll do it that way.
  8. Im installing some custom aftermarket speedo plasma dials. The ones that fit over the originals. There’s only 2 wires from the new speedo lights 12v inverter, red positive and black negative. I’m thinking the best way would be to connect them to the dimmer switch wiring? Be good to know if anyone has fit these before.

Thanks for all your comments. I’ll post up some pictures when I get cracking on with the car. See what you mean about the traction control , doesn’t seem to work to well.

Yeh it’s white with the cream colour leathers. I did buy it direct from the previous owner iv known for years with lots of paperwork and full service history. iv had my eye on it a while and finally got the deal done yesterday! As for the badge I didn’t notice that just figured that’s how it was, I’m a qualified car painter done it for years so I know the cars right as far as crashes go etc, it’s just been sat a while and needs some TLC over the next few months so probably won’t be out in it properly for abit.
