So Iv found someone to refurbish my turbos but he needs to know the exact turbos my car is running I’m hoping for at Japanese import, 1996, TT manual 6 speed there’s only one option for turbos Can anyone tell me what turbos are on my car? Thanks for your time

Hey gentles and gentle ladies. Just got my car back from getting the paint job... and noticed there’s blueish smoke coming from the exhaust. Had a couple mechanics look and both said it’s one of the turbos. I’m looking for the best place to buy a couple standard turbos, or hybrid turbos or have mine reconditioned to hybdrid... I phoned whifbits last week to purchase a couple new hybrids and was told roughly £1100 for the pair, today tho I phoned and there an extra £350 to pay if I don’t send my own ones over. Is there somewhere else I can get a couple turbos or somewhere you would recommend to send mine to have them reconditioned to hybrids? Thanks for your time

Hello people. Not long a member of this forum and so far I have to say the information available is perfect for a rookies needs. I do have a few questions tho. Can someone tag me or share a link to a thread that helps me with tuning. I'm currently in the process of purchasing a manual 3.0 twin turbo. It's had a few things done to it but I'd like to read up on what owners would do if they had the choice. I don't want to upgrade turbos if breaks should be first sort of thing.
