  1. TRD strut brace, this is a decent copy of the actual part. Looks largely the same and does the same job. As new, it was fitted once to see of it would clear my bonnet vent. It didnt! Will fit an oem bonnet just fine or a bonnet without a deep vent between the struts. Slight scratches on the mating face (where it sits on the strut top) £50 plus postage (<£15 with parcel force)
  2. That was another point i had to think about. At bpu level on stock twins, to make more power is a fair few grand (to make it safely/reliably) with quality parts. Balancing the lack of use with dumping £6k into it just didnt add up. A remap of my m4 can see 500hp very easily. Ive also used it 3x last week, thats about 3 months in the supra.
  3. Im not in anyway trying to do down the supra's, i still love them. Im also very aware the price of them now is above what id personally spend on one. So for my time in life, with having kids im going to enjoy being able to use my fun car rather than having it garaged.
  4. For anyone who may care, i sold the supra 3 weeks ago now. I have 'replaced' it with an f82 m4. Very similar proposition to the supra, maybe a supra of the 2010's?? Straight 6, twin turbo, dct gearbox similar size and weight. I only say "replaced" as the supra was a car id always wanted. The m4 is better than the supra in every measurable way but that's what they call progress i guess. Biggest thing for me is that we went on a family jaunt today in the cool car a thing my supra couldnt manage.
  5. I think i priced it realistically, i still made a very tasty profit. Parts have become ridiculously expensive and owners spares are being locked away to make money. I never bought the supra as an investment, it was always a dream car. Great that it made a profit and ive enjoyed every drive in it. As you get older and your circle of friends get married and have kids your priorities change. Im probably after an e90 m3 or possibly an f80 m3? E90 has probably stopped depreciating and the enginea are glorious. F80 is a lot of car sub 30k that fulfills my needs. I regretted selling it as it drove away, i hid behind the garage door, short of a lottery win, i'll probably never buy another. The price into supra's is just too high.
  6. I decided recently that i lm bored of runs out on my own. They very few and far between as it was. Having something nice sat in the garage is ok but making memories with my family is more important to me
  7. NOT FOR SALE/SOLD Make: toyota Model: supra mk4 jza80 rzs Year: 1996 Facelift: yes Mileage: 48k MOT remaining: 6 months Service history: not much paper work, but cambelt/waterpump done in my ownership gearbox oil change, brake fluid etc stainless brake pistons on front calipers. Car's location: north wales Modifications: Greddy titanium cat back Decats Greddy front mount Greddy twin intakes ally rad Kw v3 coilovers Wedsport sa67r Goodyear eagle f1's all.round Trd arb's Braided brake lines Bpu with mines ecu Kansei front lip, veilside skirts and veilside rear bumper, trd copy spoiler, & knight racer carbon bonnet Good bits: Very clean car, great mechanical condition, no rot, clean paint, interior is mint (no trim missing) fully dynamat insulated. Bad bits: Surface rust begining under the car, could do with a proper underseal and a os giken diff would make a world of difference PRICE Didnt really advertise, just word of mouth. I wanted 30k, we haggled to £28.7k. Car went to a fellow member.
  8. I do regret it a bit but at the same time im going to replace it with a 4 door saloon thats fast and fun with that extra practicality. Its bitter sweet as i know i cant afford another.
  9. In answer to my own question, i sold the supra today to a fellow member. He paid £28.7k for it. A price he and i were both happy with. If you would like i could list all the mods and spec?
  10. Its a 96 facelift but a pre vvti. Looking at the price of parts i could break it for more than they offered
  11. Exactly!! This is the first actual offer of value on my car. I know at its lowest its worth 23.5k. I know full well he'd stick a chunk on it to sell. If people shared what the cars sold for we could have our own market value on this club site. I dont see how anyone who bought a supra a few years back would be insulted by that offer as you probably paid half that for your car?! I have/had no interest in selling my car for that little but like i say its the first indication of value ive seen. Ebay is madness, most 30k cars there have done at least 2x my mileage, jeez I saw an NA on facebook for 20k today!!! Obviously when you sell a car, you want the most as possible but i dont see any of these 30k auto's actually sold!!
  12. I know this is a hotly debated subject on the forums. Ive thought about letting my tt auto supra go this year as i have a toddler and another on the way in july. Anyways, i found an evo x for sale at a nearby performance car vendor. It was up for £27.5k, strong money but a very good example. It was on my list as a 4 door saloon thats fun when the kids arent there but can do car shows and cars and coffee when they are. I took my supra along to see what they offered as a px, curiosity mostly. Prices are speculative throughout the community, oh thats worth 35k mate!! I was offered 23.5k for mine from the manager. He wasnt on site and had 2 pictures and a brief description from the salesman. The usual spiel of we could get lumbered with it for months. I dont feel insulted by his numbers, i was never going to do a deal with the evo, just wanted to see what one was like. My car is a '96 facelift import with 48k miles, a few good mods but not original bodied. Whats everyone's oppinion on that price? Thats the first offer ive had but privately id want a few k more than that. Pics for reference
