  1. Will be there with my club Looking forward to it! Hopefully it's a nice day!
  2. All sorted now but looks like the back needs ripping out as the seats now have hole in them where the shocks pushed up. simple case of adding washers to stop it popping through - the size of the old shocks were bigger and meant it didn't push through. Simple really but it's all learning
  3. Ok so we fitted shocks and springs to lower the fella's car. Sachs Shocks Apex Springs Car - EP91 Starlet Only problem is in the boot it looks like the inner tube of the shock is pertruding up a good 8 inches or so both sides..... Any suggestions?
  4. This Saturday https://www.facebook.com/events/248996451950300/
  5. I have dropped you a PM The date for this is August the 30th for anyone who may be interested. Fliss x

  7. Appreciate all the advice guys
  8. .... Oh.... Lord.... Two cars it is
  9. Im not sure, it was on Autotrader..... It looked ok but that's not to say it was mechanically sound... - - - Updated - - - BTW the minon has got me giggling at my desk at work... professional haha
  10. Although I just found a thread on here regarding petrol consuption and I am rather suprised! I did find a nice single turbo supra auto the other day for 3,900 ... not much of a description though which made me think.... I'd like to avoid getting an N/A .. just for preferance more than anything
  11. I think it's worth me considering... the biggest thing for me will be petrol.... Im a propper grumpy granny when it comes to fuel
  12. Thing is I bought the springs over a year ago and found out no one likes torsion bars.... so been stuck with the springs... Just want them on! Tempted to keep the pug and have the Supra as a toy as the pug is pretty awesome on petrol....
  13. Winner winner, same age and NCB as me then I haven't looked at insurance but in the past it's been reasonable.... The supra may go on hold as I just found someone who will lower my pug.... which means that will prob be modded first then get the supra... hmm tough choices
  14. Hey All, I thought I would pop this event up to gather some interest. Last year we had the "Tour of Duty" London Tunnel Run. This included a convoy down from Peterborough to South Mimms to hit the tunnels of London and have a few stops to show and shine. We are looking to do this again for the 4th bithday of the car club I am with - RelentlessRacing.org Last year was as an interesting but busy run from roadworks starting early causing our route to be altered to people getting lost - making it much more fun IMO (Although I hate driving around London, I'll have an early heart attack so I just navigate) If you are interested please do PM me and I cant sort some details out for you, such as dates and time. Thanks for taking the time to read Fliss x
