  1. I recently bought a Toyota one from Whifbitz - about £70
  2. Always park at the top of a hill
  3. Before you do anything check how much the insurance will be for a 17 year old with a modified Supra
  4. I used an M5 stainless hex dome head bolt with nut on the inside
  5. When I swapped mine over I replaced all the original screws with 12g x 5/8" plated hex head self tapping screws then I used M5 stainless nut & bolts to replace the rear 2 screws on each
  6. I've had my Aerotop about 10 years now and yes the front 2 are always coming loose unless you really tighten them (but do not overtighten them!) Link here for bolt change and part number http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?194788-how-to-change-front-aerotop-roof-bolts&highlight=AEROTOP+BOLTS
  7. I had a similar problem - turned out it was the rubber strip that seals between the bulkhead and the underside of the bonnet that had become displaced and let rain water in under the top of the bonnet near the windscreen. Since I resealed it not had any problems
  8. Might be as well to check what plastic they used - things I've printed off with regular 3d printer plastic (PLA) have warped in the car in summer. However, you can get high temperature resistant 3d plastic
  9. Why would you want to cover the vents?
  10. The roof has been sliced off by the fire brigade to get whoever was in there out. Not wishing to be morbid about it but as it caught fire, anybody still in it would have been burnt alive if they had survived the crash before the FB got there. Cant see that anyone in the passenger side would have survived anyway.

    Valuation help

I saw this '98 NA Facelift Aerotop advertised last May for £12.5k I emailed the seller at the time to find out if it sold for that, but got no reply. Ad never reappeared so I assume it must have sold
  12. As Rider says try the supra registry - its based on the original Toyota database of all the VIN numbers http://www.thesupraregistry.com/registry/40/?perPage=100
  13. This is why revolving doors usually have dampers in them - to protect idiots from their own worst enemy - themselves!
  14. Looks fake to me - no blood on the turbo and no blood pouring out of his finger If you want to see something more interesting when you get to the end of the video click on "Guy looses his finger in dangerous toy"
  15. I use Jay cars in Sutton - they let me keep my small number plate on the front as long as the original plate in in the car
