1. Hey, it's been a while since I last posted. As some of you know from when I sold my Supra TT in 2021, I am pretty particular about the upkeep and condition of my cars. I am now selling my BMW i8 Pure (Hybrid) Impulse Edition and it's an absolute gem. Compared to driving a BPU Supra TT, well it's significantly faster, and more refined, the entire car is built on a carbon fibre tub, the engineering and tech are phenomenal. It's an absolute head-turner. DETAILS A much loved, garage-stored example, the paintwork is treated with a ceramic coating each year, not one scuff or scrape, alloys have recently been refurbished so are in A1 new condition. Miles: 20,700 Service History: Full (all registered on the i-Drive system) MOT: Sept 2023 Original Purchase Price, including extras: £119K Warranty: Paid outright till 25th Sept 2024 (highest warranty available covering mechanical and electrical issues, cost me £1K per year upfront, labour rate of up to £140 per hour, unlimited claims can be made. This policy will be transferred to the new owner. Upgraded BMW Dalbergia Tan Leather with blue stitching, HUD (Head Up Display), 360 Cameras, Harman Kardon Speakers, Front & Rear Parking Sensors, Front End Collision Warning, Heated Seats, DAB Radio, Bluetooth Phone Connectivity (Handsfree Calls, Spotify etc), Powerfold Mirrors, Dual Climate Control, Sat Nav, Interior World Halo, Cruise Control. Suited to somebody who is looking for an absolutely pristine version of this car, that has been well-treated and cherished. Located in the Northwest of England/ Manchester area. Price: £48,500

3. I have just realised I didn't include a picture of the engine bay in the advert. Picture now added to the original post. Thanks.

Any under vehicle inspection is welcome. Engine runs perfectly with zero issues or smoke Auto Gear Box opperates like new, with no noises or issues The car has been well maintained by perfectionists The bodywork, interior, engine bay, engine are in very good condition, it really is a fantastic example I was a regular at the North West meets. In my possession the car has never been to a car wash, its been done by me using a 2 bucket wash method, including a foam cannon pre-wash to. (I know how particular the previous owner was aswell so I am pretty sure it was treated the same when he owned it. Previous owner was also a member of the Supra Owners Club BPU and various other work carried out by Chris Wilson (which the majority on here rate as one of the best Supra experts in the UK) Bad bits: (I am being overly picky with these and really struggling to think of anything else) A single vertical 5cm scratch on the rear bumper, it is on the part that curves under the car so can't be seen. 3-4 stone chips that have been touched up over the years, few chips that could do with touching up A few fine light scratches to the roof, only noticeable in certain lights and at certain angles. A hair line crack (few inches long) in the paint at the bottom of the drivers side skirt (been like this for several years never caused a problem or flaked but was on my list to do) A slight flake of paint on the front bumper, where it rolls in to the arch. (looks like a pressure washer got too close), needs touching up. I’ve had the car since July 2012 and the people that know me, know how much of a perfectionist I am. The previous owner from 2005 to 2012 was exactly the same as me. Money has been no object with this car, if something was needed the best original OEM parts sourced and fitted. The original headlights went slightly yellow so OEM replacements were purchased from Toyota, I noticed one of the VSV Controllers had a repair on the nipple where the vacuum hose connects, although it operated fine it was replaced with a new one from Toyota, I noticed a couple of the vacuum hoses were not original Toyota ones so these were replaced with original Toyota items. Receipts can be shown. As some of you know I have been thinking of selling for 4 years but never wanted to let her go. I am in no rush to sell, but I am serious about selling if the price is met. Serious enquiries are welcome, I am in West Manchester, 10-15 mins from the Trafford Centre. No tire kickers, test pilots or dreamers. Please PM me for a further discussion. Cheers, Rick
5. Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone has exported their Supra TT to the USA, how they found the process, what price you achieved etc My JDM Supra TT hits 25 years old in July next year and I am considering listing it for export as I am seeing the prices over their are significantly more then the UK. Just wanted some advice if anyone has been through the process before and pit falls to avoid. Cheers
6. Hi guys, any particular trick to making sure the seat rails line up after fitting new worm gears? Can’t find a point which is the same on each rail to measure from. One rail is actually 1cm longer then the other so finding it difficult to figure out how to line them up perfectly. Any input appreciated. Ps - if anyone can find the link to the old guide which was floating around on here of the process of swapping the worm gears that would be great, can’t seem to find it anywhere. Cheers
7. Hi Chris, sorry just sent you a reply. Been hectic at work and not had chance to loggin to check my PM's. Cheers
8. Hi guys, I have a burgundy leather trimmed original Toyota Supra TT Steering Wheel (inc Airbag) and matching Drivers Armrest for sale. Both items have been used but are in good condition, no deep scratches or cracks in the plastic. Viewing welcome. Price: Reduced to £140 Location: Manchester / Warrington
9. Waste of time if you live in the north west. I have rang them three times over 5 years and even though I have lived at three different addresses with completely different postcodes they have said we are not currently able to offer insurance in that area. Turns out they don’t insure anyone living in the North West as it’s to high risk.
10. Hi guys, I am looking for the original Toyota electric drivers side seat rail (RHD). It’s for my 96 facelift TT. I am guessing they are all the same but not sure. Must be in full working order, don’t want something with stripped worm gear teeth. Let me know what you have. Cheers
11. Indeed it did, I believe he has got gear box issues with it though, doesn't go in to certain gears, so pointed him in the direction of a few possible people that could offer a gearbox rebuild.
