I'd never sell it, I just need to persuade my local council to let me build a decent garage (they turned down my grand plan for a 2 story 4 car garage, can't think why!) and then I expect to bring it back to full glory. Your recent activity is making me jealous in a good way - maybe it'll motivate me to actually get on with it!!

I'm back from years in the wilderness and occasional sporadic recent lurking just to say lovely RSP Homer!!! I should really get on with putting mine back on the road.

I've been thinking of replacing my Ridox (copy) skirts for a new set because of clouding, but if this is true I won't be quite so hasty!

How To: Install a Speedo Convertor and Delimiter
SteveR replied to SteveR's topic in Technical Reference & FAQs
Hiya, I can't tell for sure what the answer is, without taking a close look at what you're looking at, but I'd be pretty certain you won't want to be joining two differently coloured wires together. Have a bit more of a poke around and see if you can find both ends of each OEM wire. - i.e. matching ends, ones with the exact same: core colour, colour of any stripe, and colour/number/spacing of any 'rings'. e.g. you might have a red wire, with a blue stripe running along the length, and 3 silver rings every 2 inches. Hope that helps. -
Nums - when are you off to Silverstone? Mike (Skyline) and me are thinking of hiring one of the BaT R300s on their upcoming Silverstone day in Nov I think it is.

But perhaps just not the mkiii then...

I used to know someone with a mkiii turbo who said you just have to replace the head gasket with an aluminium version and then over-tighten the head down, and the flawed design was fully mitigated - I always had reservations on that! Chris?

That's awesome, very, very lucky chaps. Something to look back on and breathe a big sigh of relief about! I've only once driven fast in a 'pack' as that article talks - and I was leading, but I didn't really like it as I kept thinking, but he (behind me) can't see the track ahead as well as me.... what if.....) and I as a result drove a bit slower than I do normally.
