It's a noise filter for the antenna built into the rear screen I think. http://japan-parts.eu/toyota/jp/1994/supra/jza80-ajpzz/4_291130_003_/electrical/8601_radio-receiver-amplifier-condenser/2#86011A

There are two easy ways to ruin an aerotop, 1; fit a massive horsepower laggy turbo 2; fit a manual gearbox. Aeros (with the roof off) are for putting in D and driving round enjoying the sunshine, they are not for trackdays or blasting round b roads:cool:

As everyone has said, they are hard to value because they almost never come up for sale. Since you obviously need one though I would start with a figure of £600 - £700 for a mint one and then work back from that with a quote from a bodyshop to get the blue one fixed. New bolts and seals are still (until recently at least) available from toyota and arent that expensive. eta. As long as the frame is sound there is no reason a good panel beater couldnt fabricate a new skin for yours

Had one a couple of years ago, 3.0 diesel auto. Good fun car and probably the best stock engine choice although there are some out there with a lexus v8 They are very nice and relaxing to drive, comfortable with a very car like driving position, but not at all quick. Check the chassis number on the body and chassis as they can be swapped easily. Watch out for rust, make sure the 4wd engages and disengages smoothly - its vacuum/ electric actuators on the front diff and transfer case and can stick. Make sure the tailgate glass opens from the switch and key. Havent looked for a while but the uk forum was a bit dead but did have some useful info on. The uk facebook was dominated by a couple of arseholes who spent all day slagging off every truck as worthless junk apart from their own. The aussie forums were much better, especially if you were a fan of crocodile dundee I enjoyed mine but they are a bit old now, I'd still have another if I could find a good one.
